hi Jason.. great change of pace... coffee & op sessions.. great way to start th day.. awesome vid.. do more like this.. i enjoyed watching.. thanks for sharing.. vinny
Thank you Vinny, appreciate it. I've always preferred these sorts of videos, but it's just a lot more work to have to operate and film at the same time. What I need an assistant. :D I do plan on more like this though, so bear with me, we'll get there. Glad I could help start your day off right too.
Thanks Spencer. I do too. It's just not easy to work these trains and film at the same time. I need someone to run the train as I film. This was actually one of the quickest and easiest "jobs" we have on the layout, and even then it's still this long. :D
No ballast yet and not much scenery, but I take these aren't staging tracks since this takes up the clip. Gonna be awesome when the tracks are ballasted and all that scenery is there. Love this! Awesome trackage. What a yard!
Cool video man, a lot of fun to watch. Very realistic. At 4:39 I'm guessing that's a EMD SD60? demo unit?
Thanks Dan. Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it's a Proto 2000 unit. He has that and some in the normal blue and white 60 series lease scheme.
nice layout, how wild is the yard
Thanks, yeah it's crazy. Gotta pay attention back in there.
Always fun to see that layout in operation. Great video!
Thanks Bishop! Hopefully later this year we'll be doing a lot more.

Thanks Keith. This was a fun one, glad you enjoyed it.
Excellent stuff Jason, although hard to do, I like this video better than the railfan club ones.

Nice purple units at the beginning!
Thanks. Those belong to Dad, he like the old Atlantic Coast Line.
Sorry! Locks should be locos!!
Great layout, but your locks are liking brand -spanking new, while the rolling stock is heavily weathered!!! Looks kinda strange!!
My son would love to spend a day just in the MKT yard. He stays in the yard area on our club layout, rather than run the railroad.
You should do a train with all your cars and engines on the layout.
What video editing program do you use?
It's called VideoPad Video Editor.
+Railfan Jason Thank You.
I liked the union pacific train video you did
Sweet Vid. Too bad it will never sound as good s it looks...
