Fantastic!! So good to see you do a longer video on just the MKT. It truly deserves to have much more run time and I do hope you have these wonderful locomotives in many more vids. Thanks for making my day. Merry Christmas!
Thanks Michael! Glad I could make your day with this video. The guy who owns these Katy units doesn't run them often, so I jump at the chance to film them when he does run them. Who knows, maybe I'll get a consist of Katys at some point. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.

During your operation nights, have you thought of having a brakeman, with a radio, talking with the engineer giving him the "pull forward-backup, commands. We then could "listen" to them as they performed the switching moves? Some realism?
another awesome op session... those MKT locos look, run & sound fantastic... thanks for sharing.. have a great Christmas & an awesome new year....vinny
Thanks Vinny... got way behind on responses :D Yeah those units are really neat. Hope you had a great Christmas too, and here's to an awesome new year.
Nice Katy locomotives. I wish Athearn would have used the correct green on the gp38-2's like they did on the sd40-2's & the gp39-2's. I just couldn't get past the lime green handrails & paint. Just my preference but they are nice.
Then please, please arrange for more video sessions in the coming year. Please let him know how much it is appreciated. MKT has a fan base here with his locos.
This set is really gorgeous to look at and that's merely based on the very reaistic slow speed of the trains. However 2 remarks: first of all I miss signal bridges and this whole caboose stuff isn't really realistic any longer I think. But please go on to make this outlet grow into detail and importance.
Wonderful rail movie !!! Excellent

I am in love with that SOO LINE boxcar. Kudos to whoever did it. Very sweet!!
That whole switching area is outstanding great design
Very nice video. I really like that bay window/wide vision cupola caboose. Very unusual!
Thank you. I kitbashed that caboose years ago using an Athearn bay window, cutting an opening in the roof and fitting a spare cupola to it.
play time is always a good time on a layout. thanks for sharing.
Nothin' like the sound of non-turbocharged 645E's! Great video, Jason!
Super nice layout!Very well detailed.
agreed!

Now there's something you don't see modeled every day. Nice!

Nice video. I bought a set from a catalog about a year ago and was wondering if you have any tips for a beginner?
Do what I did and join a club if you can. You learn quite a bit that way.
Railfan Jason thank you.
Nice video, Jason! I think one car got missed, though. What about the covered hopper at the cookie plant? Or was that one not empty, yet?
My Walthers. KCS SD 50 is white? I was looking for a gray one
Awesome video thank you for sharing. Jac
Thanks Jac, always my pleasure.
What kind of sound decoders were in those geeps, it sounded like a 567!
Those are factory installed Tsunamis if I'm not mistaken.
Very cool Jase!
Thanks William!
You need to do another Espee video at some point!
Would love too. I just need to install lights on one of the two I have, and depending on what I do, need to include a Rio Grande.
Great
