Apart from the blurred mirrors (which hopefully they fix before launch) they did an excellent job with the cockpit view imo. Compared to the TC2, it’s like night and day. I can’t wait to play this game
Actually night still looks better on The Crew 2! Right now The Crew Motorfest night looks oversaturated! Theres no natural darkness at all... Also the road lights doesn t seem to bright that much which is funny because the entire road is shining lol!

@@damianramirez9788 I think different areas of the map has different darkness levels. Because remember the moon can still light the earth, so he's probably in an area when even when it should be super dark because of the time, the moon is giving more light. There is a video of a nighttime offroad trail race in TCM that is so dark and the lighting and the rain actually looks scary to drive on but looks incredible at the same time. I don't think it's over-saturated, it's probably because depending on which way your facing or what part of Hawaii your on actually changes the ambiance and lighting.
@@damianramirez9788Remember people have diff picture settings(brightness contrast etc) on their monitor/tv as well as the fact you can change gamma, contrast and brightness on the game as well. At night my game felt pretty dark, but the brightness is not even at the recommended level, the brig was for most people tends to be higher than what the game actually wants you to have it
The best weather system ever implemented in a game was from TDU 2. Realistic build-up, from dark clouds moving in, to light drizzle, and finally, a downpour with lightning and thunder. It would slowly trickle down too. No sudden on and off like lots of other games did.
Oooooh, this looked good for the following reasons: 1. SOUND (Put your headphones on and Noise Cancelling on) - shift sounds are brutal as they should be (and they dont sound like door being slammed), car passes sound dangerous, in-car noise when going through dips and the thunder was intense! 2. ROAD - doesn't just seem flat, nice bumps and impacting on the driving 3. LOOKS - The rain effects in-car looked nice, and the draw distance seems good too, have a look at the mountains as they are only really seen when the lightning flashes. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO BRO!
if you want simulation go and drive car IRL. We don't need simulation in open world racing games. Fuck that shit. We are trying to enjoy arcade racing games not having to worry about car always loosing control and having to insanely focus on driving.

Oh it's so gooooooorgeous! I played the 5 hour beta last weekend and it honestly blew me away with the visuals and controls! Definitely a contender for forza considering it is playable on ps5. I am 100% buying the game the day I get paid from work. 6 days to wait! Edit: 5 hour trial, not beta 🤦♂️

I actually really enjoyed the crew 2, then I played Forza Horizon 4 which was fun for a while, then I played Horizon 5 which wasn't very fun to me at all.
More traffic cars in city and highway , add pedestrians. And add muffler spiting fire and this will be epic game. And add new rims and better color palette for rims . And fter all add windows and windshieldwipers togle while driving . Sorry for my english guys 😊

If only the street lights were to cast dynamic shadows... or any at all for that matter.
I also think the tire trails in rain needs to be more subtle than that, looks a bit unnatural and exaggerated.

I actually really enjoyed the crew 2, then I played Forza Horizon 4 which was fun for a while, then I played Horizon 5 which wasn't very fun to me at all.
