Let us know what me missed 😂
Hats off to the lady who owned a Furbey 10 years before they existed. Real die hard collector there! Interested to know how often she holds garage sales, felt like a bit of a reseller stash.
Haha I was thinking to myself at the time man she must have a Time Machine 😂 yea most of it wasn’t really worth us picking up at the prices but stoked with the footy.
That was a good couple of garage sales, friendly folks. Looking forward to you finding out the signatures on the hack 😊💜
Yea it was a really nice morning out, and cool to run into some friendly faces I think one of the signatures was dick Johnson the other I’m it so sure
Damn they all had such great things at their garage sale
Yea there was a some really nice stuff out last weekend hoping for another good run this weekend 🙏
Brad wouldn’t want the bike to have a seat 🤣. Great video as always guys
Haha who needs a seat 😂
Some interesting items. Well done with the football!
The prices being asked by some were not 'garage sale' prices!
Yea some of them where a bit overpriced but still managed to find some good deals 🙏
@@2AussieThrifters You did well under the circumstances.
Always great to see your reactions when you find something special from your childhood too :-)
Some interesting items in those garage sales..love the furbies x
Yea there was a couple nice finds along the way🙏
Gosh how tidy was the setup on the last garage sale! Some good finds!😀
Haha yea they where pretty organised haha was a nice day out
Thanks for the Video. Garage sales are so much fun. Sadly, no typewriters or Harry Potter.
Haha it this time hopefully this weekend we find some. Always a fun day out 🙏
It would be so hard when people recognise you and know that you know what things are worth. It's harder to get a bargain.
People should have prices on their stuff before you get to a garage sale.
Haha yea it’s the first time a seller has recognised us but she was pretty fair to be honest 🙏
Jon the reseller would be horrified with that car buy
Haha probably some of those corgi’s are worth very good money though so was worth the gamble.
ohhthe Dee Brown pumps
There was some nice ones there 🙏
My son would have been interested in the shoes as he sells high end shoes and has sold many through stock x so he knows it well.
Yea for the right person I’m sure there was some money to be made 🙏
Craig Lowndes Signature 😊
Ohh that’s a good point on the one on the left?
@@2AussieThrifters yes exactly 👍🏼
The other is dick Johnstone
Why do people ask eBay prices at garage sales?
I think most people don’t look at solds and want to get the most for their items which Is fair enough but yea makes it hard sometimes
I agree and then tell you what they sold for on eBay I have so many people bid on my items and don't pay and someone like that has to mention it sold on eBay for that well yes it did but no-one paid for it.
New subscriber.❤
Welcome and thanks for joining the family 🙏
Nice!
Thanks mate was a nice morning out 🙏
Furbies are creepy
Haha only a lot 😂
I can understand finding things and selling for a profit when it came to that Lego set for $3 and showing the eBay price of $35 that’s where I draw the line.
Come on mate there are family’s struggling those type of things u could at least grabbed to donate to a child that doesn’t receive those things because they are expensive
I understand your comment but I also don’t believe you understand that while buying it for $3 and selling for $35 sounds like a lot of profit it actually works out a lot less that cost about $10 to post, I loose about 18% to eBay fees and more than 30% of the profit to the tax man through gst and income taxes,
So after everything I’m probably left with $10 in my pocket.
We also spend 10’s of thousands of dollars with charity shops every year which go to help support communities and families in need. I’m very proud of what we do and how we support our community while paying for our own way in the world.
@@2AussieThrifters Well in that case if you only make $10 why not leave for a mother to buy for her child for $3 ?
@@nicoler2939 our whole society is based on a company buying for less than they can sell something for, If you have a problem with people making money you probably need to look at big corporations making millions of dollars each year increasing the cost of living well above inflations rates and making it harder for families to afford to buy their children a $30 Lego set than us small guys who are making just enough to pay our way in the world.
@@2AussieThrifters I don’t have a problem with you making money I think you have miss understood what I am trying to say.
I totally understand finding something of value for a few bucks and selling it for more would be a bargain, but to me there is a difference in finding something like a rare Pokémon card for a few dollars or something vintage for a few dollars and re selling it for much more then finding a box of Lego that isn’t rare to make your self $10. That’s just greedy.
@@nicoler2939 I’m
Very confused by this so just to clarify you’re happy for someone to buy something for a low amount say $10 and sell it for much higher profits say $100 if it’s a Pokémon card or something vintage but if it’s lego and we make $10 that’s greedy?
