It tells you how much to add to gravel Or mountain bike tires on the sealant bottle usually…it’s about 60ml or a little over 2oz for gravel tires usually.
As I don't have a gravel bike ....and have a road bike ....that won't let the wider wheels fit in the frame or the fork...debating on whether to just ignore the whole gravel bike thing and ride my mtb on gravel.... haha! What I've been doing already! 😊
I did that for a while. The problem I ran into was all my riding buddies had gravel bikes and it was getting hard to keep up. So I reluctantly got one. And I don’t regret it one bit.
@@RunBikeMike almost got one for 50 dollars and someone else was there with money while I was at work....so...the search continues. Budget biker blues... Haha!
They are doing great. I am getting ready for a 70 mile gravel ride this weekend. Last weekend I rode some of the roughest gravel roads I have ever been on and they held up really well. They are all still true and no spoke issues at all.
Are there any plans to replace those mechanical brakes with hydraulic ones? I do understand it requires replacing shifters, too. But on paper, the brakes seem to be the most obvious thing to upgrade.
I really want to and yes it is definitely the weak link on this setup. I thought about going cable pull hydraulic calipers. Have you heard anything good about those?
I'm aware of this option, but that's all. I believe this might be an option for commuting or fitness riding. Still, personally, I'd prefer not to install them on an adventure bike. One more thing to keep in mind is that they cost money. The money that can be saved for a future transformation to hydraulic.

I have been running ICAN wheels for a few years. Been great. I have the G24 and G25 gravel wheels.
Nice, I am really liking mine
I started with 2oz when I went tubeless on my gravel bike and ended up putting another 2oz in the rear. I’d say 4oz. was a solid starting place!
Really love that synthwave/8-bit soundtrack ❤
Thanks I am a huge fan of it too
Very nice. Any thoughts on G24 vs G25?
I love the 80s movie montage music

Thanks for doing this review! How are the wheels holding up?

@@RunBikeMike Great to hear! I might have to grab a set of these for myself.
I see on the specs it recommends 28-45 cc, what is the sweet spot I'm your opinion? Nice review and it got me to subscribe.
I have been running 45c on them over this last year and absolutely love this set up.

What is the widest tyre that you can fit on this bike, I know Marin say 50mm but is possible to go a bit wider? Would love to see you try maybe a 2.1.
2.1 might be possible with a 650B rim
Did you install GRX chainwheel with spacers?
No spacers. The bb on this bike is wider like an MTB so no need to use spacers to keep correct spacing.
Just a nitpick - it would have been more accurate to use tubes to compare the weight, because the original wheels had tubes
I am a fat rider. how high can the system weight be with these g24?
Do you want to sell the GTMRK? I can't find a 65mm gravel fork.
I might be interested in selling it.
