Great arsenal for sure. Haven’t tried Ardent and they look solid. I tend to favor higher speed gear ratios, only because I favor having to slow a retrieve down rather than speed it up. Excellent video and breakdowns!
Thanks! Their new reel the vertex is basically everything I want from a Baitcaster, I can throw all of my favorite lures. A 7 gear ratio reel is kind of my go to. The apex elite is a very nice reel from them as well.
Northwest Ohio so I fish alot around Lake Erie and then I will dip into the Ann Arbor area as well up in Michigan. For braid I have always been a fan of 30 pound for casting. On my spinning reel that I cast with braid, the spin braid by Pline is great. I have 8 pound on that and it casts a mile
@@MrFishingOhio cool, my parents use to live in Toledo. I’m originally from Newark Ohio but live in central PA now. Thanks the the tip on the braid I’m going to check that out.
No problem, it’s great for casting underspins or finesse swimbaits, and even ned rigs. If the water is slightly cloudy i have had zero issue with fish being line shy
Some really nice combos! I appreciate you taking the time to share them with us. Hope you have a great year my friend! Tight lines!
Saving everything for a kayak. Once I get that, then I will be looking for more variety rods and reels in my arsenal. Thanks for the info.
Great video! Appreciate the information. Thanks for sharing!
