Thank you However, I have to say that these organs are very complex built, in their time they were a high demonstration of electronic organ making technology. I have a lot of experience myself and it still took me 4 months to study and find the error.
Love my B200. Expression Pedal has no spring to keep it in the (up)low volume position tried to replace it with EXP-100. It doesn't match the 5-pin din. Any suggestions?
Dear I apologize for noticing your message just now. I had a deep problem with Genlab. PDF attachment put my computer into spam. It wasn't until I contacted them that they sent me a service manual. Unfortunately I can't resell it because it's copyrighted. Try contacting them. Greetings
First check the potentiometer R20 (reverb depth) and clean it if necessary. Also clears all contacts on the reverb amplifierboard . In the event that this does not work, measurements will be needed to find a fault in the operation of the electronics reverb. Also check out the exact reverb amplifier board if there is any micro-crack in the copper conductors.
Got some problems with the Reverb too. Im gonna try cleaning the potentiometer and see whats happening. Also the Key Click is defect. There is just a repeating sound a bit like an old steam engine. I guess there will be some more to do than just cleaning. What do you think?
Hej, i have a problem with mine: since i bought it when you turn on the "PIano" sound a D stays on and does not let you to play with this piano sound. Any idea where shall i start to look for the problem? I dont know even which board exactly belongs to this part of the organ. Do you maybe have a schematic?
Hello The Hammond B200 is a very complex device made mainly by Hammond custom-made chips; therefore, I recommend servicing only experienced electronics. A service book is available at www.gennlab.com The switchboards in this model are made with flip top chips. It can be a mistake on the mechanical switch itself, it can be a flip top chip, or it can be anything else. I recommend that the error is searched with measurements with measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscope). Regards Damjan
If you have a leaking piano note (in your case it's a D) there are envelope generator transistors for each note on upper manual for the piano. By memory they were Darlington transistors. I closed my Hammond organ service company 5 years ago so don't have any service manual. If you can message me a scanned copy of the main board I will tell you where to look.
On the underside of each side, at the center of the body, the organs near the legs are two black screws that unwind and the top cover opens as seen on the video.
How do you get the top open
The B200 was so clean inside. Really amazing. I Bought one in 1980 brand new complete with HL822 leslie. $3600
Pro tip: watch series on kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Gustavo Jaxton Definitely, I have been using kaldrostream for months myself :)
Well done. I'm inspired to fix my 142J with no specialist electronics knowledge.
Thank you

@@damjangregoric6678 Do you have any experience on the x5?
Hi, how do you "open" the B200 ... Tx a lot
Each Side under, there are 3 screws. 6 total which should open the top and flip the keybed.
How did that transistor @2:27 get like that?
I got the organ broken so I don’t know what was going on with them. I guess it was a short circuit

Damjan Gregorič,
I tried to buy the manual in GennLab but it didn't work.
Could you provide it to me or sell it to me?

Got problems with my reverb unit. amount of reverb keeps changing from normal to cutting out, any idea what could be causing it.
