Went there about 5 times when i was younger. Went again yesterday. Still the best beach in ireland.

does it snow a lot there in the winter?

Snow is really rare in Ballybunion. 2010 was the last snowfall we had to date. I only remember a handful of snowfalls in my lifetime. The salt air tends to limit frost in the area and we have a temperate climate but when the temps plummet low enough we get snow too. As you can see it's still a stunningly beautiful spot.
