  • In July 2013, Egoin completed its first Mass Timber project in Scotland: Helix Park. A coffee pavilion in a park where the famous ‘Kelpies Heads’, sculptures almost 30 metres high representing mythical wild horses, can be found. It is an area of former industrial transportation canals with locks where now a stunning park has been created for the enjoyment of Edinburgh's citizens and visitors.
In 2021 the park was presented with the Green Flag Award which is an accolade acknowledging the creation of quality green open spaces across the country that help to boost the nation's health and wellbeing
The pavilion also won an award from the Edinburgh Architectural Association and is visited by thousands of families every year.
