Quick question...do you have to re-program the INJECTOR into the ECM? I'm swapping out INJECTOR #1 on a Cummins ISX 15...with a " USED" INJECTOR and I'm just wondering if I have to re-program it into the ECM or input the numbers into it? Thanks for the response... AWESOME VIDEO! very informative.
It has been 9 months since you posted your video, have you had any issues with the replaced injector? We just replaced an injector in our 2016 ISX 15. The code did not clear on its own so took to a shop to clear the code and run diagnostics to verify the injector was working properly. They said it was good and the truck seems to be running fine. My concern is I am now reading in other pages that there is a trim code on the injector that needs to be entered into the ECM so the injector will work correctly. Do you know anything about this trim code?

I did not have to but i did perform a cylinder cutout test just to make sure all of them were working properly.
Did you attempt to run without reprogramming? And if so was there any issues?

Not that i know of sir ,maybe harness could be damaged
Each injector has a number on them and you need to put that in your insite and run time your injectors
