I'm very excited to have finally made this repair video to share with all of you!
This is a DIY tutorial of how to replace the cracked screen on an Apple iPad 6th generation model. If you have this same iPad model, and it has a broken screen, I would love to be able to empower you with the right guide to be able to fix it yourself!
The tools I use in this video are from ifixit.com , and the new glass screen I ordered from gadgetfix.com .
I founded my own E-repair business 2 years ago in August 2017, and I have been repairing electronics since the summer of 2015. Repairing your electronics is fun, reduces waste which is excellent for the environment, and it's not as hard as you'd think!
You DO NOT have to go to some special technical school, you DO NOT have to work for an Apple or Samsung, AND you DO NOT need permission from anyone to fix your own belongings when they break! Repair is the future of our electronics industry and currently one of the fastest growing industries in the US.
So when your screen cracks, are you going to throw your device away? Or are you going to repair it so that your use doesn't have to end there?

Probably the best glass replacement vid I've seen so far. Disconnecting the battery, the ring on the home button, the cleaning off the frame. I've learnt quite a bit, you are a STAR!!!! Thank you for posting.
Mine felt and the only thing that broke was the LCD screen. I’m getting the know how to and your vid helped a whole bunch.
Just thought I would let you know your video is still helpful. Just replaced the lcd and digitizer on my daughter's iPad after a HARD drop. Your video was very detailed. My daughter is thankful because she didn't back up any of her drawings or animations. Thanks again!

What double sided tape are you using, you said something about not using the "red" tape.

My iPad screen and the LCD is broke please help. What do I need to buy to get them both. And is it called the front and the black screen called
I think may have burned a filter. The iPad was not completely turned off. How can that be replaced?
I was getting food for my cat and i come back and my whole ipad screen cracked! It was just a small crack but now its like the whole screen

My local shopping mall is asking for $99
$90-$59.99=$30.01
So, I’m paying someone $30 to fix it for me basically 🤔

Nice video..What brand debonder are you useing?? I'm useing 91% alcohol but for me it
doesn't work that well..

Ok first of all you should do better reasearch😂😂😂😂😂,YOUMHAVE to slightly heat The sceen to RELEASE it and you must take CARE not to DAMAGE The WIFI ANTENNAS,LOL
