yes I can in fact I used this speaker as my monitor in one my events.. I am a dj and I use McKey thump 1500 for my monitor but for some reason it was not connecting so I had used this speaker once and it worked fine..
I have answered this question in comments somewhere.. You will have to change the heat synch fan on the main board.. your speaker is heating and going on protection mode which signifies by PRT.. I did change it too..

The Mainboard (PCB) Is not able to exaust the heat it generates.. so heatsynch needs tobe a powerful motor than given.. and now hence you removed cover heat is getting out and its now working fine.. for better operations look for better heat synch and cover the speaker back..

PRT stands for Protection.. PCB gets heated after 30 mins of high performance and heat synch does not cool it down so PCB put itself into protection mode..

You've gotta change the Heatsynch located in upper body of the speaker as shown in video.. Fan motor should cost you not more than $12..

Change the Heat synch Fan inside the upperbody.. Heat synch Motr should cost you around $8 to $12..

USB should be FAT32 file sysytem supported and should be of latest firmware..
