I looked after him and his guitars in the 70's.....he was the man, trust me................I was there when he was given his Thunderbird but that is another story for another post !
@@Harleysangel1 yes Pete Haycock was playing this composition. From what I understand Hans Zimmer gave Pete complete control over this piece. Pete also collaborated on many other films too, beside composing his own music. google him.....
hold on to every bit of time your mind can, as its travels will pass us all by. we are all here and gone in a blink of an eye it seems as 20 years can feel like yesterday....
I really never use to comment but this score from Hans Zimmer featured the perfect player for it. Listening to others play the same guitar part the music is still ok but the magic is missing. Here is a poem in music and this guitar really shines from the heart so I could not avoid stop here and just say: Hey this is beautiful! I'm happy Pete gave us this touching heritage before leaving.
Sono d accordo con lei...and when i'm listening this i really remember the movie Thelma & Louise...so emotional...Hans Zimmer's music is so beautiful...
Peter Haycock, so underrated, love this!
LOVE his instrumental work, esp... FLIGHT from Climax Blues Band. cheers.

Six times and counting....goosebump stuff.

yes, it's classic and has substance.
My favorite song ever.
One word BEAUTIFUL. I could listen to this piece and be transported anywhere I want to be. Thankyou Mr Zimmerman for this masterpiece!!

Do you know what happened to the gold plated Veleno ?
I wondered about this too. In the TV documentary about Hans Zimmer, I spotted one in his music room. Couldn't help thinking it could have been a gift.
Nobody better. Pete Haycock, we miss you, man...
An excellent recreation..

I was in the audience when this was recorded. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. I can't believe it's almost 20 years ago.
