First I agree with it's a total hollywood thing but the second is kinda inevitable that Damon would have noticed something, not many choices than cheating, crazy intuition which does go to the third of noticing a tell to lay the cards down but in a real game it would be like known to kgb at that point that Damon knows he has fours because of the flopping without Damon explaining it to the audience and known something happened. If something kgb could have used it to his advantage and played with the oreos random to throw Damon off of his game and not atleast be so keen on finding another smaller tell because of the distraction of that. But yeah in the end it's a movie, exposition is better always shown even if it's a pretty ridiculous hyperbole to those familiar with the game 😅

I forget how he ends up winning (I imagine he just outplayed him and/or got a little lucky), but I don't really understand how this is a big positive. Yeah it's great that Teddy is full tilt, but he basically told him he figured out his tell. He could have kept that to himself and used it later in the game (or even in subsequent games). It works in the movie because it's in the script that Mike ends up winning, but I feel like you wouldn't give away that you figured out someone's tell in real life, especially so soon.
I agree with you. I'm not even a poker player (at least a serious/good player), and I thought it seemed unrealistic that he'd give up his advantage by effectively letting his opponent know that he had him figured out. If KGB had been clever, he would have taunted Mike about not having the stones to lose on the cards & that he's bottling it in his head.
