Sharing one of his biggest hits in a duet with Marilyn. He was a gracious, kind and talented man.

Another beautiful duet with Andy and Marilyn . Thank you for bringing these videos to us.
Wonderful duet! ❤️❤️
That was a beautiful rendition of the 1978 Andy Gibb classic, which he was only 20 when it was first released. It is my favorite Andy Gibb song. It has a little disco beat to it. Marilyn McCoo and Andy Gibb made it a duet. It was a good way to welcome both as the first episode as new co-hosts of "Solid Gold". A beautiful way for season 2 to have begun. They had a brilliant young musical director as well.
Aww shucks…thank you!
@@bigeyezzzzzzz Well, they did have a brilliant young musical director and it showed!!! That gave the show a more "professional" touch which I have not found in other shows of the same genre. Each show had so many elements of good musicianship, talented dancers, top-notch singing, and captured, like a musical time capsule, the hits of the era, which still resonate with the current crowd, young, old, and those in between.
@@jasonburger3533 Thank you for you’re never ending enthusiasm for our show. Perhaps one could say that your head keeps spinning to music…spinning to gold! 🌟
@@bigeyezzzzzzz You are very welcome!!! If my head has to spin, and on some days, it seems to be, it might as well be spinning with "songs spinning to gold." That makes the spin that much more worthwhile. The show put such a great "spin" on 80s culture. No other American variety show did so much to show the culture of the 1980s than "Solid Gold." Someone could get an education in 80s American and world culture just by watching these uploads. The good stuff is all there!!! Thanks time and time again!!! I lived through the era and learn something new from each of your uploads.
@@jasonburger3533 I never imagined our show would have such an impact, but I’m glad it does!! 🤗
THESE TWO ARE MY FAVORITE SINGERS. THEY BOTH HAVE AWESOME VOICES.
Sensacional
I love this! 😊❤
He did that before his death and this back to show popular at that time
So cute *& talented andy .
🤜👏🤜
Okay, okay now, I don't wanna start up a competition type of thingy here: but we have this song performed with Marilyn McCoo. Andy also performed this song with the original host of Solid Gold, Ms. Dionne Warwick.
I've always liked Marilyn...but nah, uh uhhh, not even close! Dionne served it up with seasoning and a special sauce. Marilyn, not so much.
Awesome
