Also, I feel like some of the distaste for the Spino is because it killed a T-Rex. As if the Rex is some sacred creature. They're okay, but they're really overrated. I thought it was so refreshing to see a dinosaur that hasn't been displayed on film before. Why does the T-Rex always have to be the primary dino threat? After a while it gets boring. This series needs to shake things up. Plus, I just love the Spino's roar and ferocity. I'd love to see the Allosaurus get more spotlight in JW3, or maybe Carnotaurus and Baryonyx. Something different!

I think it's kinda ridiculous how easy the spino killed the Rex in JP3. That said, I thought JP3 was pretty ridiculous and lame all around. Dinos looked like toys compared to the first two JP's.

The reason for it is u know some carnivores fight they have like a break up and later fight again with regain health for the allosaurus here after the break up like less than 2 minutes he decides to go for it again he/she like im not taking a rest i want more

The Reason for Spino to always loose could be the fact that historically, he did not fight other carnivores very often, due to the fact that he ate fish and wasn't confronted by other hunters very often

@@evertondoido5505 hmmmm I see your point but allo had to fight of other predators and caught other dinosaurs as prey. Spoon ate fish and would likely not know what to do. Before you say uumy9fodjf allo was 9m long and spino 17, allo was likely 12m long for a fragillius. Also it is highly likely saurophagonax was a big allosaurus. That means allo could have been 13 to 13.5m long. Just saying allo would have won some of the time maybe 50 50, what are your thoughts???

I like Allosaurus but it would not be able to kill a Spinosaurus (both in the Jurassic Park series and in real life, and no I'm not just saying that because my channel is named off of Spinosaurus) Allosaurus was 3 tons and about 28 to 30 feet long. Spinosaurus was about 10 tons and 48 to 50 feet long. Spinosaurus could just step on Allosaurus and Allosaurus would be dead.

This is an Allosaurus Saurophaganax or Epanterias, which are larger subspecies of Allosaurus. They were the king of the Jurassic and there's been 10× the amount of Allosaurus fossils found compared to other dinosaurs, it was not a weak or unsuccessful creature by any standard, could it beat a Spinosaurus in real life? Maybe? Probably? Weight doesn't matter THAT much if you're a sluggish and delicate piscivore. Allosaurus took down Sauropods and was an extremely agile and efficient killer.

@@oshirockingham9655 When these 2 unmodified, Allosaurus will be the victor in every confrontation with Spinosaurus, first it has 6 higher base attack, 6 higher resilience but 4 lower defense, which mean Allosaurus would attack first, and since Allosaurus has better healing as well, Spinosaurus will be outclassed, heck Allosaurus even outclasses Tyrannosaurus in the fight, even though it has 2 lower attack, it has 3 higher defense and 5 higher resilience Allosaurus will still come on top

The problem isn't that spino is weak. It's that Allo is too strong.
Allo is the second strongest carnivore in the game excluding hybrids. It also has an extra cool little bite animation when it gets released.

The Spino was mostly a fish eater from the Cretaceous Period (who also sometimes feasted on Hadrosaurs) so I'm not surprised it was beaten. It's only real weapon that can cause a lot of damage is it's claws. It's jaws are meant for grabbing fish quickly out of the water.

Ayaan Baig I agree with everything you said. One of the Spinos weaknesses that they didn't exploit in this game was the Spinos sail. If bitten hard enough on the sail the Spino will bleed to death. But it rarley went up against Charcaradontasaurus. Only if it needed to. And Bajarisaurus, I'm not entirely sure if I can remember correctly but it wasn't a very large dinosaur. But anyways I just think the game developers hate the Spino. Lol

I think an Allosaurus Epanterias or Saurophaganax (which are cosmetically and anatomically nearly identical to Allosaurus Fragilis, the former possibly just being an adult Allosaurus, similar to how Taurosaurus is an adult Triceratops) would legitimately kill an actual Spinosaurus, though the claws of Spinosaurus are nothing to sneeze at.

Check their base stats you should see Allosaurus is indeed superior, it has 107 attack, compare to Spinosaurus's 101 attack, which mean Allosaurus will deal more damage and will attack first, the only thing Spino is better than Allo is defense, which is 37, compare to Allosaurus's 33 defense, last but not least, resilience is also the important factor during the combat, higher the resilience, faster the dino heals, and since Allosaurus not only has 6 attack higher, it also has higher resilience with 6 points, so yeah, Allosaurus will beat Spinosaurus on base stats, let alone the full modified attack of Allosaurus is ludicrous, at the whopping 246 points of attack, only beaten by Indoraptor and Indominus Rex

Nate Holland hard to say Allosaurus was much more agile as T-Rex and Spinosaurus and even capable of jumping to the backs of really big preys.
If he would do a jump attack to a T-Rex or Spino the fight would be over because they wouldn't be able to stand up quickly enough (at least not the T-Rex because of his tiny hands).
