I haven't seen or touched one of these since I was 9 or 10. Now a 24 year old man and here they are out of the blue. Thank you random man for the nostalgia trip.
Another thing that adds to Alto Brontes’ weirdness is his story. Spoilers for those who don’t know, but in the anime, he was the partner of a villain named Volt Luster. Volt was the serious, stoic type, so Brontes being a clown was meant to compliment that. Part of the story was the villains’ increasing use of mechanical Bakugan: an attempt to take the power of Bakugan and put it into robotic tools for their own use. Somewhere between the middle and the end of the season, another villain named Mylene ejects Brontes as well as her partner, Elico, from their ship so that they can be replaced with mechanical Bakugan, much to Volt’s dismay. Unable or perhaps unwilling to do anything about it, he leaves them to their fate. They’re discovered by a former member of their team, Gus, who has been working with another former member named Spectra to instigate artificial Bakugan evolution. As seen with Alto Brontes, they were successful. Gus then secretly challenges Volt to break his spirit by using Brontes against him. However, this isn’t the Brontes we know; throughout the course of the battle, he’s completely unresponsive to Volt’s pleas or apologies and seems to only follow Gus’ orders. He doesn’t speak a single word, and Gus even goes so far as to say that he “took away his soul” (yes that is an actual line from the show). Volt loses the battle and Gus leaves him to contemplate the events. The episode ends with Gus discarding Alto Brontes on the surface of New Vestroya, as he has now outlived his usefulness. The final shot shows him, still in his ball form, uttering his only words since his transformation: “Volt… help…” Volt goes on to question his loyalty more and more, eventually leaving the villains to try and get a fresh start. He’s hunted down by Hydron, the son of the king in charge of the villains, who challenges him to a battle. Volt wins, and attempts to leave. Hydron, humiliated, throws a special grenade that opens a portal to the end of the dimension. It slowly sucks Volt in as he utters some final words of stalwart defiance before he vanishes from sight and presumably perishes. So… yeah. Do with that information what you will.
Same here, never seen the show. The only connection I have to the show. Is I sold a collection for my father in law when he found in a storage unit he won
I honestly didn't know Bakugan had this strong of a community. I used to own a ton of Bakugan back when I was a kid, don't know what happened to them now. Probably in a box someone in the basement. God, the memories from this franchise, I wish I could go back.
I remember owning a lot of zoobles. Mcdonalds even had them in happy meals. I loved how cute they were. They had a big flaw tho. The springs inside often grew weak rly fast. Closed rly loosely and the ears often didnt even close anymore Still u loved them and feel nostalgic

I brought this up with a friend a few weeks ago and this gets recommended to me. I'm scared of RUclips
It's ironic Brontes ended up being something of foreshadowing for things to come in the future of the legacy series. Honestly he was the trendsetter for plenty of future bakugan. Including the marvel crossover who, I can speak from personal experience almost ALL of them suffer from A.B. disease. The only one that only JUST skates under the radar, is Red Skull. I guess being based off Spyron he got the best end of the stick, cause the rest of them either have fins(?) like Wolverine, or suffer like Ironman, Cap, and Spidey having random jutting parts for no discernable reason.

@Digicraftmon the Crystal Gem the riles for the first three seasons were simple 3 bakugan 3 gatcards 3 ability cards you were alloud 2 support pieces 2 traps or 2 battle gear or one battle gear and one trap etc. the first person to win 3 gate cards wins the brawl
7:19 Dude they missed an opportunity for Marchuso to say “I thought this sort of thing would have stopped at people” as a nice reference to masquerade for returning viewers.
Me too. I really didn't get a chance to get into bakugan during the legacy series, so it surprised me way to find some never got released, like dryiod.
I miss classic bakugan, I'm happy to have a Bakugan focused channel. It's rare I get recommended something I so truly wanted. Also Alto Brontese is genuinely my favorite Bakugan from all of New Vestroia. His episode is the one I remember most.
Number one was my favorite bakugan growing up. I had a haos one and I just really liked the design of it. It took me a bit to figure out how to fold it so I kept opening and closing it. Its crazy how clear my memory of it are. I was like 5 when I got it.
Marucho had some pretty weird partner bakugan in the show. I remember his second partner was called Minx Elfin and...imagine Sailor Moon as a frog girl wearing a cap that’s a separate living frog. I know there’s stranger designs but it still deserves special mention...
Love being brought back to my all time favourite series again, thank you RUclips recommended! But for real, Sky and Gaia Dragonoid was the absolute weirdest Bakugan I ever owned, it's a shame he never appeared in the show :((

Hey Jett! This was an amazing video. Thank you so much for the nostalgia; it made me dig out and examine my old Bakugan collection! Just a little addendum for you: I found some very old promotional artwork of Trap Bakugan, and you can see Dartaak among them (where he's listed as "Dart Dragonoid")! So you were right.

I have never been a fan of Bakugan, but from time to time my mother bought them for me, and among them I fell in love with a strange Bakugan, which was transparent and if it got on the plate, it began to glow with a rainbow... He looked like ultra dragonoid but, as I said, it was transparent and glowed when it hit the map. Hell, I didn't even know how to play with Bakugans, I just pressed them to plates or to metal surfaces and I liked it)
That's not entirely true, I have the baku quake Gorham it came with an ability card that said if it landed on a gate card and vibrated then you could automatically knock off your opponent's Bakugan.
I've stumbled on this channel not too long ago, and I hadn't played Bakugan in an incredibly long time, like close to a decade, now I'm curious again and just wondering where a good starting point for a....... set? is
Man, I don't play Bakugan and have never owned one but I always thought the mechanics were neat. This video was super entertaining, informative, and easy to understand even for me who has no knowledge of the series!
I wish we had gotten to see Prince Hydron's mechanical Bakugan Trioid (did I even spell that right?) get released. I saw his picture when you talked about anime exclusive Bakugan and I remembered how cool he was in the show.
11:50 i just saw a few commercials about zoobles....and im 100% honest..i felt like my brain melted its braincells and replaced them by marshmalows filled rainbows
Brontes is in the bakugan psp game: defenders of the core He's one of my favorite to play around with lol I am also convinced my love of jesters came from him
The new bakugan geogan rising sluggler the design looks unique😅 And Cloptor appear on the video🤣 Zoobles really look like ferascal from geogan Alto brontese disease like covid for bakugan 14:40
Oh my gosh!!!! I had 2-3 of these when I was 3-5yrs... Recently I found one of them, it was red and transforms into a snake, and I've been trying to find out what these were... And then this vid pops out of nowhere 😂 Thank you and RUclips too
Battle Gear from Gundalian Invaders is the BEST support piece! They are powerful and super fun to use during battle and they look awesome when attached to a Bakugan. #BakuganSupport
You can call Brontes creepy all you want but let's not forget that hes probably still suffering in silence, stuck in ball form somewhere in new vestroia.
Maybe not, since the Battle Brawlers destroyed all the dimension controllers. Also, during Mechtanium Surge, we saw all the bakugan in their normal forms a couple of times while in New Vestroia. However, after what Gus did to him, who knows what state he currently is in.
A lot of people might hate me for this but I think the best piece was traps, but this is just cause it was the first thing. We had all had the balls for a year and then they gave us these new incredible shapes that quite literally reshaped the way we played bakugan In the show they were amazing and everytime I saw one get thrown out I'd just admire the intricate shape and design. The toys were good as well. I know many people didn't like them but I really did just cause it introduce a new style of play. Also there the best cause in all honesty every support piece after went completely down hill and made the game pay to win which was one of the main reasons the show was originally cancelled. If they stopped at traps I would of had no complaints cause pay to win is what made me stop playing when I was young. Geogan are going to be a breath of fresh air highlighting one of and if not the best part of the legacy series. P.S. Mechtagon where the wooooooorste, battle gear a close second, actually battle suits second then mobile assault and baku nano then we have battle gear. #bakugansupport

8:46 This brings a whole new meaning to the “haha (insert word here) go *BRRRRR*” meme XD
I've stumbled on this channel not too long ago, and I hadn't played Bakugan in an incredibly long time, like close to a decade, now I'm curious again and just wondering where a good starting point for a....... set? is
Starter decks are available in like every big box retailer! They’ll be in boxes, and come with a 40 card deck
Jett, you got me back into bakugan, and I'm glad you did, I've never been happier, the same cannot be said for my wallet
One of these has to be a bakumutant. Those boys were the weirdest
Yeah there wired but kind of over powered because you add the top and lower g power bottom half I have one Mutant Krakenoid pyrus
Let’s just that gundalian invaders was during their experimental phase
I have never watched, owned,or even seen a bakugan why is this in my recommended
The time has come.
Why did you clicked tho
@@ekosh6266 Why wouldn't you?
me too, I clicked because a random family gave me something like this on a plane a while ago, and this looked like it
11:50 i just saw a few commercials about zoobles....and im 100% honest..i felt like my brain melted its braincells and replaced them by marshmalows filled rainbows
Brontes is in the bakugan psp game: defenders of the core
He's one of my favorite to play around with lol
I am also convinced my love of jesters came from him
I didn't remember Bakugan being this big. Wow
Holy crap they still make these? I had a collection of like 200! Never played the game I just loved how cool they looked
The new bakugan geogan rising sluggler the design looks unique😅
And Cloptor appear on the video🤣
Zoobles really look like ferascal from geogan
Alto brontese disease like covid for bakugan 14:40
5:23 "we don't know why, he just does." That's literally how I go on about my entire science class
Oh my gosh!!!!
I had 2-3 of these when I was 3-5yrs...
Recently I found one of them, it was red and transforms into a snake, and I've been trying to find out what these were...
And then this vid pops out of nowhere 😂
Thank you and RUclips too
Battle Gear from Gundalian Invaders is the BEST support piece! They are powerful and super fun to use during battle and they look awesome when attached to a Bakugan.

RUclips recommendation: "There are no accidents."
Never actually played the game but used to collect them when I was younger. This video pulled Bakugan I have thought about in almost 15 years
I’m kind a new to fandom but my dad used to tell me about these things when I was little all the time in about how they were all the rage
You can call Brontes creepy all you want but let's not forget that hes probably still suffering in silence, stuck in ball form somewhere in new vestroia.
RIP in peace...
Maybe not, since the Battle Brawlers destroyed all the dimension controllers. Also, during Mechtanium Surge, we saw all the bakugan in their normal forms a couple of times while in New Vestroia. However, after what Gus did to him, who knows what state he currently is in.
6:27 Nier Automata did that "giving birth to your own brother" thing much better :D
WAIT THIS IS STILL A THING IN THE TIMELINE-
A lot of people might hate me for this but I think the best piece was traps, but this is just cause it was the first thing. We had all had the balls for a year and then they gave us these new incredible shapes that quite literally reshaped the way we played bakugan
In the show they were amazing and everytime I saw one get thrown out I'd just admire the intricate shape and design.

My 6 year old son very much likes your videos about Bakugan toys and is inspired by them! Thank you! [He asked me to send you this message from him.]
10:50 I would have expected you to go full on Scotsman there .
I haven't played this for yearssssss
I have never played Bakugan, only been vaguely aware of it but I guess I'm going doen the rabbit hole. Thanks Jett!
Bruh the zoobles unlocked a memory I didn't even know I had
It had returned from Brazil
Ramdol gives a whole new meaning to "card games on motorcycles"
No kidding
Except in this case I guess it'd be motorcycles on card games? Oh well, Atlas would be proud either way
