  • If you want to explore Malaysia on your own without taking an expensive tour package, then watch the information that I am sharing through this video carefully and if you follow them you can do the whole tour plan for Malaysia by yourself.
5 things Indians must do prior to entering Malaysia are:
1- Passport: A passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, is actually Six months beyond the date of arrival, and At least one blank page is required for an entry stamp.
2- A return flight ticket is a must.
3: Hotel booking Receipts: You need to make advanced hotel bookings for wherever you are staying in Malaysia and for the number of days you will be staying. If you want you can book hotels online as many hotels can be booked without any card and fully refundable bookings can be done from these portals.
    4- Visa:
The fourth and most important requirement is a valid tourist visa. A visa is a must to enter Malaysia. It is not very difficult to get a Malaysian visa, it is possible to get a Malaysian tourist visa by filling in some basic requirements, and if you want you can do it yourself by applying online. There are many types of tourist visas in Malaysia. Among them, I am mentioning a single-entry Malaysian visa which is valid for 30 days. I have already mentioned three of the four things required to apply for a tourist e-visa.
i- A passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, is actually Six months beyond the date of arrival, and At least one blank page is required for an entry stamp.
    ii- Return flight ticket
    iii- Hotel booking vouchers
iv- Passport-size photo - Certain instructions for taking this passport-size photo are given on the Malaysian website. You need to follow all these instructions properly, or else your visa may get canceled.
5- Currency exchange: exchange local Malaysian currency in advance, although most places accept credit cards but still take the local currency which is the Ringgit in advance.
So what I mentioned till now were the basic requirements that are needed to enter Malaysia.
Additionally, I want to highlight a few more things here. These things will make your Malaysia tour completely headache free.
    Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is essential for a worry-free trip. For just 2,000.00/- rupees or less, you can get 7 to 10 days of travel insurance for Malaysia where you will have coverage up to one thousand dollars.
    Roaming Activation & Local SIM:
Next, I will talk about mobile connectivity. What I did in this case was I activated roaming on my Jio SIM for Rs 1,100.00 where I got a talk time of Rs 935.00/-. I pre-booked a Malaysian SIM for internet usage which I collected after landing at the airport. I pre-booked this SIM through a mobile app called Klook.
    Klook App:
Sharing information about the Malaysia tour can not be completed without talking about this Klook app. Before going to Malaysia, you must download the Klook app, and using it, you can book tickets for various attractions in Malaysia at very discounted prices.
Although, I booked tickets for Petronas Tower directly from the official website as it was not available on Klook. If visiting Petronas Towers is in your plan then definitely buy tickets for Petronas Towers in advance.
I hope the information that I have shared with you today will help you to plan your Malaysia tour. If you find the information shared in this video helpful, I will request you to give a like to this video and subscribe to our channel. Thank you, stay well, stay connected.
