I use cuepoints in Ableton. If i press Q or W or whatever key i set to a song, the song starts. I use a wireless Apple keyboard to start the songs. Except for the keyboard, its a free solution and it allows me to have a setlist of 36+ songs. No extra plugins. I still use a written setlist that has the number or letter in front of it. I can mix my setlist in any order i want, on the spot. I can make loop cue points if i am in between 2 songs and use a soundfiller. Only downsides are: i manually have to calculate my setlength, and have to remember which song belongs to which key.
Another useful video! The first time I heard of a Liobox is when Will introduced it in a video a few months back. I was hooked on the idea. I am a keyboard player who does the recording and runs tracks during the live shows while playing keyboard. I’ve been doing that for 5 years. I purchased a Liobox and used it for a live show for the first time July 4. Honestly, it was so easy to use, I felt like I must be cheating. I highly recommend the Liobox; it is worth every penny. Will, thank you for introducing me to it and for providing educational videos!
I have been using Taz Pro since before it got a global release. Love it as you don't have to record your cues yourself. Timesaving! Curious about the other options these days.
As a drummer who MD's and runs playback while playing I prefer ableset. Super easy to use and setup. I can also send over show files for someone to run in ableset and it requires zero knowldege of ableton to run the session from the app.
Hey I'm doing the same job as you MigDust, I have a question, Any idea how we could have the songs/setlist playing and also be able to read charts/drum score on a device such as an iPad? I know Ableton has a video view but its not going to work with my band, need seperate charts for each musician
Is the Oakboard Floor Vista compatible with the Strange Electronics Setlist plugin? I assume the basic MIDI functionality of the buttons is, but will the display still show the names of the locators? Thanks!
I love using setlist but want the convenience of having a footswitch like the floor vista.. do you know of a good alternative? Don't care about the screen just want to be able to trigger/stop and move up and down in a set with a foot pedal and have it be more affordable than the floor vista!

Crazy that Ableton Live doesn't have an in build setlist window.
AbleSet is everything
it's a good one :)
Nothing beats Ableset, max functionalities against a fair price
Enjoyed your video, thank you. I use StageTraxx. How does it compare with AbleSet?

it's great! Thanks for sharing
thanks for great material. Just wondering what would be the best straight forward midi controller to control ableset ?
Could I run Ableset while also running a keys rig in Ableton? Would that be too much?
It will be nice a video like tutorial on all
I agree! Here’s full courses on every setlist management solution available:

in the software realm, AbleSet knocks everything out of the water😅
The link in the description for Setlist: Strange Electronics is not working. Page 404 found. Just a heads-up. Fantastic content. I'm learning so much.
Thanks for your great work 😊
Thank you, and thanks for watching!

Hi! Will you also be reviewing Full Fat's Conductor when it comes out? Seems like it'll be a serious contender!
the course is already out!
