Extreme Offroad Truck

Driving one of the best and most capable offroad trucks ever made: the MAN KAT1, made in Germany. It's old, but very capable. Not only do many military services count on the 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8 versions of this truck, also fire department and disaster management agencies and civil defence run them as emergency vehicles, and they're popular as offroad rallye trucks as well.
I was able to take a tour at this year's offroad trade show "Adventure and All-Wheel" at a former military base in Bad Kissingen. Took a tour as co-driver and then drove it myself as well.
There's no modern tech like power steering on these trucks. You really have to work to get it around a corner. It has impressive offroad capabilities like ground clearannce, approach angles and it can climb extreme inclines
