I have 2000 Mercedes s500. With 280,000 miles on it. Still drives fast and smooth. My friend mechanic said if I keep the fluids fresh it can go to 350,000 +. Great car in my opinion 👍💯
I totally agree it's an amazing car. I have the 2003 s500 and have had it for 7 years it is a beast of a vehicle and have not had one issue with it what so ever
I just recently bought an 2005 S500 4matic with 122,000 mile on the odometer. It is a very comfortable cruiser. The ride quality reminds of my 04 Range Rover but with a lower center of gravity. What struck me is this cars tech is nowhere out of date. If you switch out COMAND for an Android head unit and you have a modern car by todays standards.
@@kid5042 Just the air suspension going out which is pretty typical but expensive to repair unless you replace it with some coilovers but ride quality will neer be the same if you do get coilovers.
Thanks for the review man I'm currently in the process of buy a super low mileage 2000 S500 with 100000km on it!!! This definitely helps ease some of my worries.
got one with 190 thousand still runs like new. gotta be the most comfortable car I have drove. lots of leg room for the tall ones. I'm 6ft6in and can stretch my legs all the way out and still plenty room behind me.
Just bought one for 2800. One owner 125k original miles everything works great. I also have a 06 is250 . Comparing them the mercedes drives so much better. But I'm sure it's not gonna be as reliable or cheap to main but I feel like it's worth to spend that extra $$
Okay . Anyone have the patience to give me an opinion. I have an elderly couple who is selling me one of these cars but the BRABUS edition. 240k miles . But very very well taken care of and maintained. I don't know about BRABUS . Can anyone give me any info ?? Please and thank you 😊
