Have to watch the Chris Stapleton/ Justin Timberlake 2015 CMA performance of “Tennessee Whiskey/Drink You Away” is is absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥! Best awards show performance I’ve ever seen and perfect live vocals and arrangement ! Justin is awesome too along with the second song Drink you away which I like even more than this! Well, maybe best award show performance is tied with Bruno Mars doing “Perm” at the BET awards or Perm at the Apollo. You would jump outta your seat for that one too!!! I will probably get buried in comments but hope you see S I highly recommend and your audience would love to see these two!!!!!
I can't do favorites. My brain goes tilt but I know when I needed to change up the mood and get people into a certain calm ( and buying) mood at my bar I would put this on. In love, looking for love, mourning a lost love... It gets everyone. It also soothes the savage heart when they get to a point in the evening where people get a little belligerent.
Country music is soulful. I think you’re in for a surprise as you listen to more. AND you’re adorable! When you smile, you could light up a room! It’s a beautiful spirit that does that, and it’s a gift. ❤️
If you have the courage to say this was your first time listening to something new thats when you got me as a subscriber. Keep going and i will follow brother.
His wife is a singer in her own right, and since he has written so many songs for so many hit singers, she convinced him to sing himself. She is on the stage with him all the time since it is said he has horrible stage fright. They are amazing together! This is a remake of an old country song originally recorded by, I believe, Hank Williams (i may be wrong about the original singing artist), but this is an old song with a new arrangement..
@@jodischwendeman8256 You are right, it is a remake. Unfortunately it wasn't Hank Williams, it was David Allen Coe. That one was country style. Chris sang it in more of a blues style.
Just love watching the youth of this generation reacting to old school music, especially country music 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼❤️ we listened to real music. 64 yrs old and I am having a blast watching reactions
Your title says "First Country Song". That got my attention as I'm surfing for videos. Then it said "Chris Stapleton" and I'm thinking "oh, this guy is going to be hooked fast." I Love your reaction. I'll have to keep an eye on your page.
I don't think last year you were ready for it yet , now check out Jusin timberlake and Chris stapleton "tennessee whiskey/ drink you away" live at the country music awards show.
This was written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove and recorded originally by David Allen Coe in 1981 (country artist back in the day)...then the late great Country Music legend George Jones released his version in 1983 and continued performing it for years in shows. Chris Stapleton has been a song writer for many years and finally started recording his own music at his wife’s urging. She can be heard singing harmony with him on this song and all his music. The absolute BEST most outstanding performance of any kind EVER was Chris Stapleton & Justin Timberlake signing Tennessee Whiskey & Drink you away (JT’s song) during the 2015 ACM award show. The single best performance EVER! You really need to watch that and react. For other country music reactions...Brooks & Dunn “Believe” will REALLY take you to church as well as Vince Gill’s “Go Rest High”...just have Kleenex in hand!! Emotional but SO worth it!
The song was written by Linda Hargrove & Dean Dillon. It was first released by David Allan Coe in 1981, then by George Jones in 1983. Jones’ release of the song made it to the Top 10 Country Billboard. Stapleton’s cover made it all the way to No. 1. If you’d like to listen to the live version try his Austin City Limits performance.
Man's World. Chris Stapleton is invited on stage by a cover band. Asked what he wanted to sing, Chris said Man's World. WATCH THEIR FACES when he starts to sing!! SHOCKED!!
You never judge any type of music. Music is an art. Every type of music has a message or a meaning behind. You just have to keep you heart, soul and mind open to to anything. All country is different and everyone who says country is all the same is wrong. There is already a judgmental world. We need to more open minded to all music all art.
Chris Stapleton has written over5000 songs, after his wife found out that he could sing she encouraged him to get on the stage and record his own music!❤❤❤
CHRIS grew up about 20 miles from where I grew up.We don't mess around in KENTUCKY. He is what a country boy can show you.Proud of you and your wife .go out there and show them what a good ole country boy can do. Thank you. Sherry hall
Chris has a good way of causing that stank face lol good reaction bro. Chris plays lead guitar as well as his wife singing harmony. You should react to I was wrong Austin City limit's performance and barely alive acoustic guitar live. You'll really love these. Stank face the wholeeee time lol
Enjoy your reactions. You can't really go wrong with any Chris Stapleton song. But you have to check out his performance of "Sometimes I Cry" live at Bing Lounge.
I'd like to see someone react to Chris & Morgane Stapleton and Dwight Yoakam singing Seven Spanish Angels. originally sang by Ray Charles and Willie Nelson.
It doesn't matter which song u choose of his every single one hits me right in my soul. Morgane, his wife sings and harmonizes on most of his songs with him and she is amazing in her own right and really could probably have a solo career herself but she stays with him. Love them both
Welcome to the magic of Chris Stapleton! Check out more! "I was wrong, what are you listening to" enjoy!! Priceless reaction. I could see it hit you several times.
Loved your reaction! Chris is a unique talent. He is as great live as audio. Check out his acoustic version of Barely Alive, his live version of James Brown cover of Its a Mans World, Austin City Limits performance of I was wrong, it has an amazing guitar solo. Welcome to your Chris Stapleton journey! Keep up the great reactions!
I was wrong..Austin city limits...omg...one of the best performances you'll ever see...and the Fire Away official video... unbelievable! Swear you'll listen to all his stuff...
You should watch him and his wife perform this at Austin City Limits. Also, the two of them, plus Justin Timberlake did this song and JT's "Drink you away" at the 2015 CMA awards. They brought the house down!
Love love your reaction!! You should do Chris Stapleton/Justin Timberlake CMA 2015 Tennessee Whiskey/Cant drink you away... it will blow your mind 🤯🤯 so good..... keep up the great reactions!!! Try Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss as well!!
One of the best concerts I've seen and I've seen many dating back to 1978 when I was 8 yrs old. He doesn't jump around or run across the stage. If what you want is great singing and instrumental, then go to a Chris Stapleton concert
Alison Krauss and Union Station (AKUS) she has the voice of an angel and the band is a fine representation of bluegrass. "The Lucky One" is a good place to start. BTW: until the 2021 Grammys she held the record for the most Grammys (27) for a female artist. Enjoy the journey!
Watch the Fire Away music video. Amazing song of course but the video is so sad. He also is the one playing that guitar and his wife is the backup singer. Definitely check out his live performances. Believe it or not he's better LIVE!!!!!
He sang this as an audience member at a Tyler Perry concert. Entire crowd videoing him, many were singing, and mouths agape everywhere. There's videos of it on RUclips

@@laticiacrigler1762 that song hit me in a place for sure. Sometimes I Cry is my favorite. The guitar 🎸 🔥

"I don't like Country Music"
Chris Stapleton: "hold my beer!"
You don't have to like the genre to appreciate the vocal ability.
Yup I'm not into country music but damn Chris can sing to me any day....damn
I believe that should be, "hold my whiskey!"
Try Benjamin tod it will change your perspective on life
This isn't country music though.
"Why didn't you tell me to react to this sooner?"
You weren't ready
Always ready
He wasn't ready!!!!!
He wasn't ready...but when Stapleton hits...it's right on time everytime 🤯🥴🤠🤣
The blank look on your face when he hit that high note....priceless!
I actually thought my video paused lol
I think he looks like he is about to have a seizure
Hit him with that falsetto

His wife does the back up vocals. Live, he's singing to her. I do believe.

One of the best live performances I have ever seen. It was a party for them on stage, like a jam session.
no justrin just a leach on him
Justin ruined it
For a COUNTRY performer, he sings the blues like a natural. What a great voice!
And, once again, Twon, I love your reactions.

Chris is from Texas and he is even better live. Every song he sings is good.
Listen to him sing...It’s a man’s world.
Dolly is a singer with another voice that's effortless. He hasn't connected country to gospel, yet? I love that about country music.
He's been Entertainer of the Year 4 times. Won song of the year a few times.
Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake at the CMA'S will blow your mind✌❣🇦🇺
