The Rhys produced albums are definitely unique! Great albums! I love the 2 covers of Small Town Boy and Xavier also on Symbol of Life.
This album absolutely needs more attention than it gets! It's packed with excellent songs, for me it is easily in my top 3 favourite PL albums. I'm so grateful that you guys have played Isolate and Erased on tour in 2020 in Novosibirsk, and that you are now bringing the whole release back. Aaron is, as always, a pleasure to listen to, hope there'll be more of these memories. Rhys is definitely one of my heroes, helping to create not only SoL, but also Fear Factory's Demanufacture among countless other fantastic things

I sort-of skipped this album for years... when I finally went back and gave it a proper try I fell in love with it. It's easily one of my favourites, now. I think my brain must have fallen out for a few years, in the middle, there. :|

@@aprilragsdell2846 I met Aaron at a show in the US (2012), talked and talked and talked while Devin Townsend played, one of my metal gods just hanging out. Had a drink with Greg...what a night.

@@aprilragsdell2846 I saw them in Texas in 2007 too. Went to the UK for the 25th anniversary shows in 2013.

conheci a banda pelo draconian times em 1999 acho. um amigo me emprestou o cd. gosto de todos os albuns e sei das particularidades de cada um. mas eu sempre soube desde a primeira vez que ouvi, que o symbol of life seria a obra prima da banda. o som definitivo. o auge musical, pop e estético da banda.

A masterpiece!
"Erased" is up there in my top ten favorite PL songs of all time. Best song on the album and would have fit in nicely on "One Second".
It's cool to see such a video celebrating the Symbol of Life album. I love that album, it was the first Paradise Lost album that caught my attention. Isolate, Erased, Pray Nightfall, some amazing songs. Whatever about a CD re-release, I do wish the music videos from that era were remastered.
All PL songs are wonderful, but my favorite from Symbol is Two Worlds. I don't see that track mentioned as much
