Now that I'm more familiar with the lore of this game, I find it odd that Junko & Hecatia gave up here. Hecatia could easily, *EASILY* have BTFO'd any of the four protagonists, including Reimu's OP ass. This would lead to the lunarians being wiped out in the dream world and Junko having chang'e laid out on a silver platter for her. Hmm.
@@Archedgar They are very strong, if lunarians would become threat to Gensokyo, Hecatia can wipe them easily. For now, they are not threat, but breaking spell card rules is.
@@vffgddhbvv5047 She wouldn't have to though. Literally keeping them in the dream world would have wiped them all out except chang'e. That said, after learning more I now understand why Junko stood down. The price of victory was just too high; Capturing chang'e would mean the extermination of all life in gensokyo and possibly the entire earth. Wiping out all of the lunarians including the slave army of rabbits as well. Even Junko knew it was too much. .... oh yeah and I was wrong earlier when I implied gensokyo would be safe if the lunarians were wiped out. The lunarians set it up so if they were wiped out, the weapons they set up during ULIL I think would actively purge all life unless directly stopped by them. In other words, it's a dead-man's switch intentionally set up to kill everyone if the lunarians aren't there to stop it. They are unironically super villains and 100% deserve to be wiped out but they played their cards well in TH15 and survived a little longer.
After the conversation they all had in the end, I can't help but imagine Junko and Hecatia hanging out with Eirin, Kaguya and Reisen in Eientei.
I was wondering why people keep seeing junko and reisen with mother-baby synergy,so this is where it came from
Yeah I finally understand
Reisen's endings just seem much more fulfilling than anyone else's in LoLK
Well shes a lil personally involved

They didn't want to fuck up Gensokyo.
@@vffgddhbvv5047 but if the lunarians are all dead or captured, would gensokyo really still be in danger?
