2024 OCMC 6 hour XC race!

This was tough but fun race! I started in the last group and made a lot of good moves to try to get ahead. I ended up making a lot more mistakes than I thought I would (forgetting the bike in third gear for the whole enduro cross section 🤦‍♂️) but still had a decent first two laps. I than passed it on to my teammate for his two laps and by than the track was pretty chewed up with lots of deep silt. My race ended early as on my third lap I hit a massive rock hidden under the deep silt and it broke the chain slider off, bent the rear sprocket, jammed the chain slider into the frame and broke almost all the teeth off the front sprocket! Still had fun though and my teammate managed to finish the rest of the race solo💪
