Toyota has lost its way for the American market. As one who has been driving Toyota trucks and Fourrunners exclusively for the last 40 years, starting with the Hilux, they are no longer able to compete with the same set of values to the American customer. While mpg has never been an incentive to buy, that element certainly has not improved, imo, for the global environment that we now live in. The values of reasonable cost, smaller size, and endless reliability are no longer represented in the pickup truck products that you offer to the American market. I am currently driving a 2002 Takoma SR5 with no plans to replace it with another Toyota pickup. Why? They are too big, too expensive, and too unreliable. I wish this was not the case!
