I have vray next 4.0 and it isn't show like your setting also I can't edit the primary rays and secondary rays please do you have an idea how can I fix this
V-Ray 4 will come shortly
Maybe you're current render settings is on gpu mode.switch it to cpu mode to make the primary rays enable..hope that helps! :)
Thank you for this informative video. I tried rendering above tips and having some issue with my shadow. Brick texture gets distorted from the shadow of a column and I don't understand which setting can amend it. I tried both Irradiance map and brute force. Can you please help. I am using Sketchup 2019 and V-ray next.

What the difference between cpu and gpu render? I tried to use my new RTX on my renders but I can't configure the light. If I choose cpu render, my system goes do 93°C :(
GPU renders are fast and smooth, they use your GRAPHIC PROCESSING UNIT, you need to configure your RTX settings and also your light settings in VRAY, check GPU render tutorials for the same
