If you were wondering yes Popsicles actually do work a decent amount better than ice cream I recommend a popsicle. Also it will not hurt right away you will feel fine when you first get home and then about three hours to four hours maybe even five hours and you will start to hurt like heck make sure to have some tissues in case you start bawling your eyes out.

1:01 wire poking problem i have just take a small dot of hot glue let it dry half way so it’s moldable but cold apply it to the rear and it works also the hot glue forms the rear so you can easily remove it and put it back
I have the wire poking problem. I had it for a few hours and thought it was just the brackets rubbing against my cheek. Now the inside of my cheek looks terrible and torn up ._. But thank goodness I was able to put wax on it...

I just got braces yesterday and they hurt alot while eating and i can't talk properly with appliances just hoping it will be all better after few weeks

This really helped my braces have been hurting for 2 weeks and now I know because I’m pretty sure it’s because my teeth are moving and the wire is growing and poking my gums and cheeks,but I think someone threw away my othadonics wax a couple months ago I got brace august 1, 2019

The back pointy wire on the left side is rubbing and sticking with my cheeks. I have to blow my mouth. It’s painful and uncomfortable. I’m putting a tissue paper temporarily, need another appointment
Same here. It’s a pain because I have to wear wax only on that tooth. It falls off when I’m eating, so my mouth just gets cut up every time. I hope at my adjustment they cut it differently so it doesn’t stick me anymore.
I wear a brace now and it is painful. I had my top brace for 2 months and Soon I will be having my bottom brace. I am unable to eat and drink with it because my mouth is ulcerated.

Your nearest Can yeh. I got the first wire changed for a thiker one and they made it super tight. It was kinda uncomfortable yesterday, but now it hurts bad. All for the greater good of nice teeth. Haha

yea I have this blanket that I've had since I was a baby and idk, it's always helped me deal with pain

Is it normal to not be able to eat or chew anything for a whole week after getting your braces tightened? Thats how much pressure and pain I experience on my teeth

@@totallynotdepressed1200 heyy, I’m perfectly fine and I can eat almost everything. The first two weeks were rough but you’ll get used to it. That’s a very cliche thing to say and I heard it a lot the first few days and thought it wasn’t gonna get better but I’m completely fine now and the first few times u get them tightened it’ll b hard to eat cause they’ll b sore but it only lasts for about two days. Dw you’ll b perfectly fine by next month:)
Do you have any food recommendations? I'm only eating mashed potatoes and it's getting gross :( it hurts to eat anything else
