Just because you don't fancy combination blow doesn't mean you can't appreciate those who do use it. It's put there for people to use lol if everybody used the same build as you, then you wouldn't use that loadout anymore.

I’ve been playing with builds that load up transcendence so I can get max dps during the witness, and ability spam is huge for getting a full bar back. Liars and combo blow works best but can create some havoc during the encounter. Relativism with Innermost Light on the other hand has been incredible. Threaded needle, solar grenade and gunpowder gamble all feed eachother with a reload dodge to top things off. I get a full bar super fast.
I’ve running a version of this build on my Still Hunt hunter and it’s very nice, the neutral game is amazing.I use some different fragments and exotics, but magnetic grenade, threaded spike and GPD go so well together
Although you do lose out on the devour grenade energy, Forerunner is another fun slot if you want yet ANOTHER grenade to throw lol. I used it on a grapple hunter build so I could use grapple, have frag grenades, gunpowder grenades, and my transcendent nades. Plus it does nice in taking care of Tormentors and Subjucators. As for the priority in which you use grenades Gunpowder > The Rock (frag grenade > Class grenade . Transcendent obviously replacing all of them. Works great with a Spirit of HOIL and Verity as long as you match your grenade with your energy slot. I use a Permeability Ros Arago here but you can replace it with anything if you don't mind not using Grapple.
Yeah this is really good i use hoil instead of galanor for 24/7 grenade uptime plus with ashes to assests and you get quick supers anyways. The nade damage with the dominance fragment is insane
Just a suggestion to improve your vid is to actually show case some the stuff your talking about. Similar to how astercross does damage tests sre carl. Showing the damage of magnetics with and without this setup would have been awesome. I know it's a lot more work but its something i think people would appreciate. Otherwise great vid definitely deserves more subs
Just suggesting something that might be good for someone: I was testing a build similar to yours, but I was leaning more towards verity+gunpowder specifically, and in my experimentations I liked it better to have a solar weapon/grenade to make easier to stack both verity and gunpowder at the same time I was using a solar primary(with demo)+ void lmg(had free exotic aswell) but changing it to the exotic sidearm + solar lmg seems like a better combo
There was a version of this build that was doing more solar stuff but I ended up landing on this version, although incandescent + stylish is still a really nice pairing
I was lucky enough to get the same roll on relativism on my very first drop. Been running a similar build focused around a solar weapon, because at 5 stacks of verity's your gunpowder gamble does ~150k
Yeah I'd noticed the same thing and its a bit weird because its counted as a debuff in game, so it should get that passive 3% transcendant energy like what threaded spike gets. Might have do some testing...
It's not just you I have noticed it ad well it gives virtually no light transcendence energy it must he a bug males no sense why it would not but literally everything else does.
Now try the Young Ahamkara's Spine with Gunpowder Gamble. It's stupidly good actually. you just have to use it differently than before, but you can loop grenades into grenades
Just wondering why you're not using "facet of dominance" (void grenades weaken targets) with this build since you are using magnetic grenades. I'm guessing the initial stick would apply the weaken and both explosions should get the weaken. Since we have expanding abyss from the artifact this season, both of them would get the 25% debuff instead of just the 15% that we normally get.
For me, I'd rather save the fragment slot and use bb to apply the weaken. It does mean you have to have devour before, but the extra spot for another fragment is really nice

If you're happy losing some damage in the build for more survivability you could drop facet of courage. It's a 10% damage increase so the build will still hold up pretty well without it.
Making a build with exotic class armor gets the automatic thumbs 👎👎... I'd rather go eat a bus tire then do that 2 player raid that destiny decided to throw in smh... I'm convinced these developers just don't like people at all
