    Slowed the video and where you say not to lower your hand to throw the uppercut, you do lower yours but very fast so it's hard to see. Check it out.

      Lowering the hand is more so about drawing your elbow back behind you to throw it. This is what I mean for you to avoid in “lowering”. Drawing the elbow back is wasteful
