    Thanks so much! Let me just say Victoria. It's the way you passionately articulate your knowledge that is so,so, great. I'm gigging more this year, and I'm in your age category. For some reason, it seems to be getting easier as I get older, go figure.

    I came up with a novel technique: take a latex balloon and sing into it, inflating it. As it inflates - the back pressure increases, requiring ever more effort to sing.
    You can occasionally deflate the balloon and start over again.
    But it replaces the straw exercise, and after inflating the balloon only twice - I feel like I’d just completed a marathon!

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  Месяц назад +1

      I'm glad that works for you but would probably invite a lot of singers to over-support and lock.

    victoria you are amazing! i'm going though all your content and trying to learn how to sing better. I was wondering if you have could make a video on singing with asthma? I don't know if youve taught people with ashtma though....but if you had any info wold be incredible. I have asthma and I can't really sing to well cause of issues with getting enough air in....its always an issue, but I'm learning from your vids already that I don't need that much air.....just to support the release better

    Is it okay to sing like 3-4 times a week for example one day rest the next day singing than again restday and then again singing because I feel like my voice needs that rest

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 месяца назад

      Sure. Over time, your voice should gain stamina with proper practice. Shorter and more frequent practice sessions are better than long, less frequent practice.

    • @andreaslepiane6346

    • @Victoria-Victorious

      Singing with BAD technique, yes, can cause vocal problems. Singing with good technique will keep the voice healthy and strong. I have lots of videos on this.

      You need to find out what is causing your vocal fatigue. Hoarseness is a big red flag. See my playlist on Throat Tension. Also, singing for 2 straight hours with no breaks is a lot! Fit in some breaks.
