They need a birthday party! 🎉🎈🎁 I took my 3.5L V6 Toyota MR288 GTO to the Black Mountains in Wales for the mk1's 40th anniversary - it was made Pace Car and saved me the 30,000 euro fee and getting it crushed in Italy lol! It was my poster car too David, I'm just a little short for a real one currently - but it's still one of my goals this lifetime 💛🎂❤

I like all three of the Ferrari GTOs, both body types of the early (1962-1964) 250 GTOs as well as the 288 GTO (1984-1986). I like the 288 GTO because it's like they took the Magnum PI Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole and made it way more badass by combining a little bit of both the original 250 GTO body type designs in it. All three of these cars are masterpieces.👌🏽

@@dk8797 One yellow prototype actually was made by the factory, I'm not sure if this is it, it was red originally but was sold by Ferrari as a yellow one after they resprayed it. But yes all that left the factory were otherwise red, so there's lots of fabulous aftermarket variations. I'm thinking of painting my 288 GTO replica Indian Blue with a red stripe. It was commissioned for the Brunei Royal Family in 1994 along with 3 others all of which had new paint and all became right hand drive, like mine is. It used to be on Paolo Garella's page but I think it's been removed. It's gorgeous... I have a screenshot of it - there's lots of other photos of it having a water test at Pininfarina in Spring 1994, but then with a black stripe. It looks great with the added red stripe. I hope it still exists. The black with a red stripe needed a full nut and bolt restoration after just 1,800km and managed to escape the humidity of the Borneo jungle without air-conditioning in the garages!? You can see DK engineering in the UK sold that and made a great video on it a few years ago. It's now owned by a guy who has the grey RHD F40 - I think he's a music producer in London.

I thought there were only two genuine NART Spiders, but I dare not contradict David, who says in this video that there were 10. Steve McQueen owned one.

The only problem is that 288 GTO does not exist. All 288 GTO that Ferrari produced came out of factory in red color. So this yellow is just painted.
