Thank you for this excellent review. I was debating between several field watches for my next purchase. The Hamilton is now my #1 next purchase and I’m now a new subscriber!
I love the look of the watch but I just cant get over the faux patina. Same with some Tudor models. I hope they'll relase a dial version (a white and black dial version) that is dual colored with just black and white markings / superluminova. Then I'll buy it :)
Hamilton builds the absolute best all around reliable field watch’s that can handle every outdoor beat down that people throw at it. The black PVD models are stealth , tactical pieces that look good in so many situations plus do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Legible, reliable time telling in every size from quartz to auto. Love all the small variations from compasses to day/dates etc. Impossible to beat a Hamilton from this part of their lineup especially for the bargain prices.
lol. yeah, you can't get any more rugged than a "field" watch without a screw-down crown. (I realize that this new line at last features a screw-down crown)
prefect land toolwatch imo, i'm fed up of seeing these divers everywhere. Would've loved a forest green dial though (forest, not khaki), fixed mine getting a green leather strap
I love mine (41mm). Bought it 11 days ago and didn’t wear or even look at any other of my watches since then. 😅 It wears great, it looks great….and mine is running with +1sec/d. What else could I wish for in a watch? 👍❤️
Great looking watch with a perfect design. I think the faux patina with the contrasting stark white Arabic numerals are a questionable at best design decision. I don’t understand the allure behind faux patina at all. Just make it normal bgw9. It would make the watch so much better.
For me it's too shiny. The brushing is so shallow it looks almost like a polished watch. It's not the look I want from field watch. Price is just too high for this kind of finishing IMO. I'm waiting for preowned deals, probably will take black one on the strap.
Got one for 650 dollars new but used yesturday. Always wanted an Hamilton when i already own multiple seikos, tissots Orient etc. Even an alpinist so now i have 2 fields hehe. But for 650 i couldnt say no 5o a new watch, simple and clean every day watch
Still loving my Khaki! No regrets whatsoever. Merry Christmas to all!

Glad I could help!

G Shock all day long.

I'm hopeful they might release a black bezel version in the future 🤞

That is a very very nice looking watch. Maybe shrink the dial branding slightly, but otherwise...
I hope to get that watch soon.
Does the metal bracelet shrink from top to bottom or is it locked in the same alignment?
Love it. Make it Titanium with lumed Arabics and I will buy it.
It’s 60 click so you can use the bezel as a timer.
How does one use the bezel on this watch?
AR? Saw a lot of reflections throughout

More accuracy such as Grand Seiko quartz or G Shock quartz.
@@pittss2c601 Not as accurate as my radio controlled G-Shock. 😉 But as accurate as my Tudor BB, which costs 3x as much. 👍

Perfect Size IMO
Agreed. Really like this model
Rob didn't explain how to use the compass bezel. It's weird.
Really like the watch faux patina is not for me
Can anyone who has this comment on the AR? Still looks suspect..
I have the 37mm version. IMO the AR is above average.

I find Hamilton super overpriced for what it is. I get the heritage aspect but damn.
