Hey do you guys know how to swap engines? I want to swap a RB26 to a 73 Datsun 620.

alonzo503 I have Done a bit of research on what it would take to put any inline 6 into a 620. since this truck was designed around a 4 cylinder the fire wall is pretty far out in the engine bay making it almost impossible but if moving the fire wall isn’t a big deal for you then there’s no problems.

Fatboys Garage no moving the firewall isn’t a big deal for me. How much do you think it would take.. I researched some RB26s and they’re roughly around $3,500 but I don’t know if you need to buy some other parts. And how much would the labor be.

Now that’s a good question I try my hardest not to pay labor on anything, as you can see. U will probably need a custom ecu or need someone that knows how to wire power, ground, and signal from an rb car ecu. Motor mounts, tranny mounts, probably best to redo the rear suspension/ s13 rear subframe with s13 LSD, maybe a few other things I missed.

Ryan Marshall saw your comment on the other video and checked this one. We could probably make something work, my concern would be location, as they are heavy and will cost a lot to ship if you are unable to pick them up? Are you in California?
