If there’s an insert, I use it. Just so long as I know the cards stay in place depending on how I store it. Otherwise, it always gets bagged. Like you said, maybe 10% or less have the kind of insert I need.
Depends on the game, but I found these clear crayon storage boxes at Walmart recently for like $1 a piece & they fit the standard 2.5 in x 3.5 in cards with sleeves pretty dang good
most cards I've got are either in an elastic band or put it back as it was in the box between uses. i knew someone who put his cards in card sleeves like magic the gathering. and the only games he had were the most common games out there. i didn't understand why. does the uno deck need to stay in mint condition? i didn't get it.
If it’s a card game I usually keep them in a box of some kind. I find that sleeves make it really hard to shuffle.
