Been here since the watermelon dog treat video, I was like, 6 at the time of something like that. I miss the old crew.
I think Huskies are very beautiful dog and I think they are very interesting and trustworthy and similar to a German Shepherd because they are very protective of their owners.
I encouraged both my Sibe/Samoyed mix and my Alaskan Malamute to be vocal, but I also associated it with the Speak command and hand gesture, and with the behavior of sitting by the door and barking only when they wanted to go out to go potty.
I also associated howling with the command Sing, and "Sing Pretty". It was one of the Best things I've ever done. I didn't teach my Collies to associate barking with anything, so they bark at quite literally EVERYTHING. I'm not being dramatic there either. The wind blows loud, they bark, thunder, they bark, the ice cubes in the ice maker drop, they bark a plane flies over, they bark. And it's not a bark 1-3 times and stop, or only when playing type thing either. It is a full blown barking fit.
Before they left us the Huskiemutts would sit and look at me any time the Collies would go into a barking fit, with a "why are they so crazy dad, and why do you allow this" expression.

Memphis's smile is beautiful!!! Whatever happened to Second Chance??? Super Cool to be saving Canines from a certain death in the Shelters. I volunteered in Tucson Shelter and the turn over is every Monday, called Black Monday!!! Little did I know at the time Keith lived down the block from the Animal Shelter I volunteered at. Strange how things happen, if I stayed on Long Island and Keith South Carolina would have probably never met. We both worked for the same HMO in Tucson is how we met. Joan Bates ❤ ❤ ❤

When you’re in Tennessee there’s a place called Rock City, it’s near the Georgia/Tennessee boarder and up in the mountains. You could drive further south and hit Florida with the Gulf of Mexico. The Atlantic you could see anywhere from Maine to Florida. I saw the Atlantic from Massachusetts, and Florida. Gulf of Mexico from Texas and Alabama. I’ve never seen the Pacific Ocean. Out of the Great Lakes I’ve seen 3, Superior, Huron and Michigan.

Eleanor is a bully toward Memphis. Why does she jump on her back but not Kira's? She seems to not like the quietness of Memphis and takes advantage of her. She should not be allowed to jump up at Memphis and bite her face. Poor Memphis got up on the sofa to get away from her. Memphis really tries to play with her, but Eleanor turns on her, roughly. If Memphis wanted to hurt Eleanor, she probably could. But, she is such a gentle soul. She is truly beautiful.
