Big improvement on water quality there mate thought would make big difference clever idea with the holding ring that will again make big difference as will hold the dirt below the media temps here dropping away slowly too here winter comes 😒👍👍🉐🎌🉐

@@zeprizelo9435 hi ref the pump I have a 80 litres which works well for me and moves the media well With the cleaning it all depends on water temperature and how much your feeding if your really pushing for growth I would do it daily if your not feeding heavily once a week is ok 👍🏼
Hi there no reduction in flow and no it doesn’t get dirty mind I clean it once a week and hose anything of that maybe on it 👍🏼 Hope that helps it’s made a huge difference to the efficiency of the system
Nice mod mate, not sure why so many people want to use the K1 micro for biological, it was designed to be a prefilter for catching waste, even EA who make it never use it as a bio, yes it comes in an easy pod but there only good as a prefilter that's why so many people have to add showers ect after them, your better off with normal k1 or k1+ tbh.

Well when I am feeding heavy I do it every 2 days but this time of year weekly is ample

In barrel use how many kilogram/ liter k1 sir?
50 litres of k1 will work in the barrel for you 👍🏼👍🏼
