That is a problem because witnesses giveing of contradicting testimonies can all be telling the truth as they know it. In fact if they all say the samy thing then they are most likely lying.

This video are as of now a year old but recently in the Russia/Ukraine conflict Russia lost their cruiser Moscow and a theory is that reason are loss of alertness with the crew watching for incoming threats. It has been suggested people on such duty, in this case staring at a radar screen, should be working in shifts no longer then half an hour or they may end up fatigued and not noticing a pair of incoming missiles.
