Idk about Christian culture bro unless you mean Western culture but As a Muslim that is growing up in a Hindu(Geographical Term not a religious term) region you should learn to adopt the Hindu culture as long as it matches with Islamic law like Quran and Authentic Hadith and Traditions. Small weddings were actually part of Hindu culture since way way back look at Ram and Sitas Wedding or Radha and Krishna’s wedding, (May Peace upon all them).

People do weddings like this then they wonder why things are going bad in their lives, why the divorce rate is high. Its because you invited shaitan to have a feast at ur wedding. You forgot Allah so Allah made your children forget u.
Alhamduliah Allah gave me knowledge and now I refrain from these things. Obviously as a kid ur naive and u don't know, but weddings are literally disturbing

I am pashtun and the women around me dance and play music and don't care about halal and haram , when I tell someone to not do such they answer back saying "we r only doing it between women, there's no men" but haram is still haram even if there's no free mixing... Today there is a party in a hall where's there's only women and they r celebrating a new born baby party and they r going to dance and play all kind of haram songs. I told my mother to not attend attend then I got answer back from her saying "she's not going to dance she's just going to sit and enjoy the party with friends" but she doesn't understand that it's still haram to go and sit there enjoying the party even if u r not the one playing music or dancing.. I explained to her a lot and other people around me through Qur'an and sunnah I've given then many examples of Qur'an verses and hadith but no one listens and what I get to hear in return from everyone is that wedding and parties r about joy so we should celebrate them and that there should be difference between these kind of celebrations and funerals so we r not going to sit down quiet or else what's the difference between these and funerals ? They said the music and dance is there so we can define whether it's a wedding or party going on or a funeral. They say we r not going to sit and do a khatam where u recite surah yaseen a fix number of times in a group or Qur'an where u all recite each sipara , but they don't get it that this is bidah and this is haram as well and that it's not allowed to do these in funerals either.
Pray for me that I find good friends upon Qur'an and sunnah soon so I can be around them instead of jahil people because I don't find any joy being around these people , I will continue to give them dawah as much as I can but I want to feel the joy of being around people that r upon Qur'an and sunnah. Even I am not perfect and I want good friends who fear Allah so I can look at them and be like them and learn Deen from them as well.. I can want friends upon Qur'an and sunnah so when I need to celebrate something I know I can do it the right way with the right people.

lol when I heard the brother sexual France and Roman vulgar stuff came into my mind

Also in SA the dressing of the wedding gown is deep cut at the back open dress n sleeveless. But then they have qiraat n duah before they serve the food.
The young girls dressing more like Christians wedding
    Not ALL the girls
    The others have Hijab, Alhamdulillaah.
The mendhi night is more like the Hindu riwaj
Some actually hire white girls as belly dancers before the wedding day
    Donno how parents allow this
Shukr to Covid the weddings are smaller now
May Allaah guide us all n may we open our eyes to the soul

My husband and his ex manager who's a non Muslim are good friends But his manager's wife talks and jokes freely with men and wears short and immodest dresses. She talks with my husband freely which i don't like bcoz i dont talk with her husband. She doesn't talk with me but only my husband. I told my husband u dont talk with her but now i got to know my husband doesn't talk to her but she comes in between the talk when my husband and his manager are talking on phone. Though she doesn't call my husband personally but talks when his husband talks with my husband on call and she never asks about my well being. His husband is of good character though. My husband is a decent man he just replies to her just for the sake of his friend he also doesn't like her. But this is a big problem everytime we encounter them face to face, i just dont like his wife. We dont visit each other's house.

Sadly, this is a common occurrence in the Indo-Pak region. Most of the Muslims there are nationalistic and can't forsake their man-made traditions even when they strongly oppose the Deen of Allaah عز و جل which they supposedly hold on to. When it comes to their tradition that contain many aspects of Jaahiliyyah, they hear and obey, but when it comes to the Deen, they brush it aside or even laugh it off. This is mostly due their abandoning of Allaah عز و جل from their lives by neglecting to know about Him and His Deen and acquiring Taqwah thereby.

Assalamalaikum due to hurry and laziness in internet revolution, we dont pay much attention to english rules.
but atleast we should be cautious about Islamic principles.
      So please write,
      Allah - not allah
      Qur'an - not quran
      Muhammed - not muhammed
peace be upon him/SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam - not pbuh/saws
      Allah Subhanahuwa Ta'Ala- not swt
      JazakAllah not Jzk
Its not about sin and haram but about respect towards our Rabb!

I hope someone can answer my questions. Because most of these videos regarding weddings and graduation parties are mentioning the two major haram which are free mixing and music.
Where I live there is no free mixing in the beginning of a wedding. Men and women each have a separate side of the event hall. But there is loud blasting non Islamic music from the very beginning.
A lot of dancing and woman dressed with very revealing clothing. And at end of the wedding, it is tradition for dozens of the grooms close male relatives to enter the woman’s side of the wedding hall to congratulate and dance with the bride and groom. The women present will cover up with abayas and hijab, but they have full make up on.
Many excuse this “tradition” by saying the bride and groom are cousins. But aren’t the men entering the hall cousins to the women present on the woman’s side of the wedding? They’re all cousins, relatives maybe, but that still makes them non maharam because they CAN marry each other. So it will be considered free mixing. Because the men and woman all dance together in the end.
If I show this video to these people they will say there is no free mixing. What about the music? If it’s true that there is isn’t any free mixing is music being haram enough to excuse myself from attending these events??
And if the event is for one of my children. If I alone can’t manage to convince my son or daughter to do an Islamic wedding without things that anger Allah, because I’m the only one who believes it’s wrong. Is it wrong to not attend as the mother of bride or groom?
My son had a graduation party last year. I tried to convince him to not make a Haram party. But his father and his grandparents insisted on throwing an extravagant party to show off. They had a massive party with famous DJ and my son’s uncle gave my son drugs to “loosen” up. My ex-husband mentioned this fact to me as if it was no biggie.
A few weeks before the party, I Informed my ex husband I wouldn’t be attending my son’s graduation party because it would have a lot of haram.
He told me that would be the last day he spoke to me if I did not attend. He also said I had no heart to humiliate my son by refusing to attend. In the end I went. I was humiliated by the women in the party because I’m separated from my husband and was ostracized by all.
I think that’s what I deserved anyway for caring more about my ex husband’s threats than Allah’s commands.
I have six children who will all graduate and have weddings one day Inshallah.
My son will graduate soon as a commercial air pilot inshallah. He will most likely have a party again.
If I refuse to go I know the entire town will speak bad about me. But if it’s the right thing to do by Allah that is what I will do.
Please anyone who has knowledge on this issue give me advice.
Btw I reverted almost fifteen years ago but I wasn’t guided until a few years ago after I separated my husband. So I will be honest to say I do not like attending these events because I am treated badly. But if it wasn’t haram I would likely attend to avoid gossip about me.
However I will not consider pleasing the people at the risk of angering Allah swt. Alhamdullah I know this much now and I’m grateful. Just want some confirmation to what I’ve learned is correct.
    Jazak Allah Khair.

Asalam Alaikum brother. It’s nice to hear from you this beautiful khutba but.
Unfortunately all the systems are involved in music at this time. Even big scholars using music on the background of Their speeches. I don’t know why? And it’s exactly in your this message. I’m wondering !!
The message is to avoid music but it has music itself !!!!!

No we have imams attending these weddings to perform nikah in front of an audience with no hijab intermixing and a bride done to the nines uncovered . The imams should refuse to donnikag under these conditions . Perform if at the masjid or within the home. Why are the imams attending these places of fithna ?? It’s like they’re endorsing it by doing so.
