Digital sustainability is becoming increasingly crucial for financial services to meet their Net Zero Goals. Ioannis discussed the IT footprint and its’ contribution to Scope 2 emissions of Financial Services and the role Financial Services can play in combating climate change.

EUR ING Ioannis Kolaxis MSc is a Director and a Senior Technology Architect at Accenture. He focuses on Green Software innovations, helping customers measure and reduce software carbon emissions. He is an inventor, speaker, and author of the Green Software book.

Since 2020 BlockW has developed a series of micro-learning modules for the 34,400 members of the Institute of Bankers (IOB), a high proportion of whom are women (the IOB have a strong focus on developing women’s potential through initiatives such as this one). The IOB digital library is available to all members.
