Graupner HE 111 Crash

Graupner hatte vor ca. 11 Jahren eine schöne HE 111 herausgebracht.
Leider konnte ich mich einmal bei starkem Wind nicht zurückhalten und bin trotzdem geflogen.
Das Modell wurde bei der Landung von einer starken Böe erfasst.

Never had the urge to fly with multiple engines. Too much can go wrong, or at least it was when I stopped in the early 2000's. That said both the Graupner Taxi and Robbe's Rasant were the models I have never been without. Just throw either in the air and have fun.
Regarding the crash: Wouldn't it have been better to not use the flaps and instead have an higher landing and starting speed? Yes, it sounds counter intuitive but with speed you probably would've prevented a crash.

Your explanations are correct, without flaps would have been better; and i also fly the great simple models from the good old days for relaxation, many thanks to you 😊👍
