I think this player was exquisitely prepared, popular RUclipsr often underestimate their influence in online chess. I play vienna and have Levys course and 60-70%% of my opponents know theory until move 8 and I'm 800 elo blitz, 1100 rapid. Since the release of Daniels course I suddenly have to know theory of the Jobava because I get demolished with engine lines otherwise. Before that I only faced Levys london system which is easier to handle. Great game, lovely analysis as always, might buy your course in the future.
Same when facing the King's Indian Defence. Lots of opponents know exactly what to do up to 10 moves in. Makes it very hard unless you also know how to face it. Many of my losses have been from exceptionally well-prepared opponents who aren't necessarily stronger but far better prepared.

Why is Qe8 in move 10 from black better than Qc7? Qc7 looks much more intuitive to me, because now the Queen is not blocking the rook on f8. I thought the tactile ideas would be the same for black. If white castle's black can still play Ne4, and it looks like the line works the same way. So why would I put my Queen on e8, if the same ideas work with Qc7? Anyway, it is good to realize that all this Ne4 ideas can be prevented with playing Na4. Very instructive Danya!
I haven't looked at it too closely, but at 36:05, if you move imagine the same position but the queen on c7, I think white has Nxd5, gaining a tempo on the queen on c7. Not 100% sure. Crazy position for sure.
To me the craziest nuance about ... Qe8 is that it eyes the knight on a4, so after ... Rd8 and ... d4 there are some ideas with ... Nd4. It might still be slightly better for White but I'm trying it in my next Jobava game, it looks so poisonous against an unprepared opponent.

Hey Danya, I know I am not in the position to complain but I am kind of bothered that stopped playing e4 because I was really looking forward to seeing a 4 Knights Scotch at a high level.
Four knights scotch is by no means a way to play for an advantage unfortunately. Beyond 2200, the scotch becomes an obsolete opening where black has multiple paths to equalise without much difficulty. The 4 knights is even worse than other scotch lines, and there’s 0 advantage in that line.
@@eh_epic9633 Actually i need to emphasise that my point is only valid for a classical time control. In blitz and even sometimes rapid, this is perfectly viable and a risk free opening. I even use it myself to avoid the Petroff and transposing into the four knights scotch in blitz. The problem is that in classical, both Nxe4 and Bb4 equalise quite easily, Bc5 is also a decent option. But i would not recommend Nxe4 in rapid because Nxe4 Qe7 Bd3 Nxd4 and castles (0-0) for white is significant compensation for the loss of a pawn.

Danya literally knows what move I’m thinking of every time! Despite being an unbelievable GM he can still get in the head of a noob like me 😂
I’m pretty sure Hans Is a expert in this opening.
Yeah he released a decent chessable course
Sir Daniel Naroditsky, why Ian sir loose 4th match ,what was the main mistake
The mistake was Ne4
@@Amoeba_Podre Thank you sir
whats that engine that he use? anyone know?
I cannot find this game in Danya's account, neither this user...
The user changed their name, they are named Dalibor6709 now
@@therandomrat5238 thanks!!
6:11 what is this warp spaghetti
looking like the AI pope in that hoodie👑
Danya plays bad and apologizes but still wins lmao
"I'm starting to feel helpless" is such a nice/diplomatic way of saying "i think this person could be cheating"
He's got plenty of those passive jabs. The 1st clue is checking the profile ;)
I'm a 1550 rapid player, i wouldn't recommend the jobava, i did a ginger GM course on it but in gameplay it was a complete disaster
