I love Josh's Frogs! I have gotten all 3 of my white's tree frogs from them, and then won their yellow spotted climbing toad giveaway. I've ordered feeders from them too, and they have the biggest variety I've found.
Avicularia jururensis has 2 morph types. Morph type 1, is the Yellow-Banded Pinktoe. Morph type 2 is formerly "Peru Purple" or the Purple Pinktoe. Not to be confused with Avicularia purpurea, which is a different species. The jururensis M2 will be purple as an adult, but not as vibrant as the purpurea, it is also larger and will actually have pink toes (the purpurea doesn't have pink toes). If it's an M1, you should notice bands around the joints by the time it's around 1.5 inches.
Really cool. I have known for a while that Josh's Frogs sells T's and other invertebrates. I think they even sell some types of fish. Nice to see how they pack thier T's really well. So far I've only purchased springtails, isopods and plants from Josh's Frogs.

Best thing with the moss packing, you can just pull it right out and leave it. You don't have to push the spider out. Makes so much sense, less bolting and teleporting.
I love it when "the Pro's" have wee problems getting their slings and bigger into a new enclosure! I don't feel bad when it happens to me then. 🤣😂😅 I recently was rehousing one of my T. albo slings from her now tiny cup into a bigger cup and...Zoooommm! Off she went and on my floor. I was like "no, no, no!" Found her crawling on the side of my foot and managed to get her into her new home. So watching you, I was cracking up! Good save! Have a Happy Halloween, Richard! 🕸🐜🦂🪳🕷🕷

Spyderco knives are very popular with collectors, and they're pretty nice, but like you said they're very expensive. You might look at Civivi if you're interested in something quality but budget friendly. Congrats on the spiders and the knife ;)

I bought 3 M.Balfouri from a company called "jamies tarantulas" back in july and ended up 2 of three missing legs on arrival and a month later one passed away after molting (cant blame that on them it happens) but the missing legs were a deal breaker for me for ever ordering from there again. glad to hear this ones worth looking into.

I've two pink toe slings, and love their sling colour blue, but looking forward to their adult colours when older. Those balfouri's were determined to not go in their new enclosure. Josh's frogs had c. versicolors when NO ONE else did. I've gotten at least 6 tarantulas from them, very happy with them. Just a bummer that they won't shit them with other inverts like feeders or isopods 😤
Balfouri comes from Socotra Island near Yemen.....its a semi desert ....almost dry island ....I wonder is that the right substrate !!! A mix of pebble and normal soil and little sand mixture could be a better substrate for them ....
I recently lost my Ralphie (Avic Avic) after a successful molt. I wish I could know what I did wrong so I can do better. I miss my little pink toed buddy.
