As an 11 year old in October 1967 arriving from England I found Radio Hauraki on my little transistor radio and listened to nothing else. I have fond memories of the little jingle that used to play just before the news, I didn't realise at the time how early on in it's life radio Hauraki was. I have lived in England since 1974 but still listen to it over the internet occasionally, so glad it's still going after all these years.
