I completely agree! The clean channel is usable, but definitely not Fender-type cleans. This is one amp that will never leave my collection. Thanks for watching!
@@BerscakCustomGuitars I have one of the original American Made Fender Hot Rod Deluxes (I know, the HRD is no Deluxe Reverb). The clean on this always sounds richer and more refined when I A/B the 2 clean channels.
I have one these Boogie Amps, which I bought through a used online gear trade. I love that it it has so much bass. Even with the bass set on 4, or 10:00, produces the biggest, most Bad-Ass Bass amp bump I have ever heard. All though you have a good selection between us, for different channels. You have every tonal option known to man. And you may also want to watch your head. Because something is coming very close to hitting it!
Best amp ever. Bought one 15-20 years ago. Hard rock/punk (ish) band (still playing, actually). Drinfted through a few amps over the next few years, but came back to the rectoverb. Have been playing just this amp since. First one died (rehearsal room wiring issue possibly). Got another one. Mesa doesn't make them anymore, and the 25w head version isn't the same. Since my first one died I periodically pick up good ones on ebay. Have a combo, head, and a single rect head (same minus reverb). When we play bigger shows, the sound techs are usually surprised. I don't use any pedals. Just straight into the amp. Old show: ruclips.net/video/HJmGxoGENw4/видео.html
That might be common with Mesa amps. I had an Express amp and it did that and then recently I saw a band where they were playing a Badlander and it did the same thing.
I’ve had one of these for years. The clean channel needs more love, because it’s fantastic! The Raw and Vintage modes can do anything.

For real sounds great on my strat and when pushed with a guitar with humbuckers its beautiful.

What model Sg you playing? Is that stock in your vid performance? Killer tone I play an sg standard and I’d love to get that tone you’ve got
Where are you settings for that clean mode? Please . Maybe a snap shot if the knobs? Than you
Dude dump the black shadow speakers and put a V30 8ohm in it !!! ……. Will sound killer of note !!!
I had one an loved it except two things: 1. the weight, 2. the delay between clean and high-gain channels switching
