In 2018, our senior prank was to leave a bunch of miniature rubber ducks with our year on it all over the school. We had over a 1000 of them and left them in the classrooms, hallways, restrooms, etc etc. There was virtually no cleanup because everyone thought it was so cool and took one as a souvenir. I made sure to keep one when I was given a 100 to set in random locations. It's something I still remember!

Our senior prank was orchestrated by yours truly because our principal lived across the street from me. Me and a bunch of other students (including his daughter who was our age) bought probably a thousand forks and put them in his yard. The next day every flag at school was changed to have his face on it. Day three we had a timed announcement set to go off revealing some "fact" about the principal. Day four we got a group of band kids to follow him around all day and play theme music for him. And on the last day we got the custodians help us move his entire office outside onto the parking lot. Our senior prank is legendary.

Senior pranks should always be about fun and celebrating the achievement of making it thru HS, not about destruction or revenge
In 08, my friends and I got hundreds of balloons and filled a study room in our library (my aunt owned a party supply shop and we asked the librarian). Throughout the entire day, kids cycled in and out of the room and it was actually pretty therapeutic 😂 to lie under 10 feet of balloons is actually a pretty wild feeling - but we cleaned it up after and it was memorable.

in general, when you allow kids more freedom they tend to be less adamant to break the rules, like if you allow one ring and one necklace students are less likely to wear lots, and if you allow more leniency on homework they will either be happier or more inclined to do it. my school lets you do that sometimes and it feels refreshing to want to work instead of needing to

The next year, I don't think they were allowed - or they brought a pig/cow into the school.

We got to throw our papers in the lunchroom, some parents on Facebook started this rumor that we just left it for the janitors to pick up. When they literally just brought out the garbage cans and we do everything else including being the bins to dump out, we would NEVER let our janitors break their backs to clean up after us like that. People need to calm down and understand that these kids just want to have fun, give them the rules and tell them the consequences and let them do their thing. Now that I'm an adult I've helped a few of my younger friends pull their pranks and my absolute favorite was these kids who emptied a pretty large classroom and filling it back up with ball pit balls. I'm not joking it was like 7ft deep (because they had a few pretty tall kid in their grade and wanted to make sure they could have fun) we probably had close to the whole class in there (300-400 kids) at once, like the amount of balls that they got their hands on was insane lol. But they filled the room, set up a projector and had blankets and pillows ,watched a movie and just hung out for most of the night. The next day they had the principle open the door and get absolutely smashed by a wall of balls but he had a good laugh, a few teacher even held class in the ball pit room that day.

We had to clean it all up aswell. There was also common sense rules like not hurting anyone or destroying property but for the most part we were able to do anything, one year they put cups of water all over the stairs (there are also ramps and multiple ways to go around so it's not stopping access), we also had one year a group going around pretending to be a cult preforming a sarafice(that was a strange one), for our prank we put a bouncy castle in the library and covered the walls in post it notes that had positive messages

Back in 2015 when I was graduating the school spirit was really low like low and the moral of the school was terrible especially with the seniors. They told us over and over again that if we did anything we wouldn't graduate/walk and or would be arrested. It sucked honestly because even before that they cut our school budget on our prom and we had a thing called senior week, where everyday was a different activity or hangout fun thing to do for the whole week, only to find out they cut it down to one day and for 2 hrs and that was it. It sucked so when it came to senior ditch day they told everyone if you ditched you would get a failing grade or yk get told something else. Senior pranks come along and because of just the constant bad news and let downs from the school the kids really retaliated and we had a welding class the kids took the welding tools and welded some of the doors shut and key holes on classrooms they stacked the benches in all the pathways so you couldn't go to class and then stacked trash cans on buildings. I thought it was a good prank, easily reversible, done above-board and no permanent damage.

In my school (in the uk) we don’t have leaving pranks. I think the closest we got was like tying. Our ties in different places on the last day. We also hid all the clocks in the school and some of us went into the staff rooms and hid all the cups and mugs so they couldn’t get coffee. A couple of us also put stickers and rubber ducks around the school. I know some people in the lower years who were still there when we left and they still find our stickers and some of the teachers kept our ducks

I went to a charter school, and for the senior prank, every student was allowed to pick one person from a different grade to help them and most of it with Expo marker on the giant framed pictures in the hallway, balloons filled the front office in the main Halls, the entire cafeteria was covered in glitter, it was all fun stuff and underclassmen got to help

I'm not entirely sure if it is my school or a nearby school, but if anyone does a Senior prank they don't get to graduate (at least they don't in the ceremony or something like that, again not entirely sure since I only overheard it from a friend.)

I wanted to take a picture of our favorite teacher’s face and make hundreds of copies. After that we’d put his face all over the school lol. He was adored in the school and always down for a laugh. Unfortunately we were told we would not walk at graduation if we conducted a prank.

At my school a few years in a row, the pranks became legitimate vandalism. Toilet paper on trees, eggs thrown on the buildings, and spray paint along the ground (the seniors never cleaned it up). However, the one year where the prank wasn't allowed was perfectly fine. The school was fine with it. The district wasn't. They wanted to bring tents and have a camp out on campus. The police showed up because the district wasn't happy.

Our prank was hilarious over 500 forks stuck into the soccer field trees wrapped with saran wrap with "class of 2023" spray painted on the saran wrap. The newly minted graduates cleaned it all up after the rest of the kids got to see it.

Here's a list of senior pranks that took place while I was in high school:
    • Plastic wrapping around both parking lots (they made sure to leave space for the busses to get in and out)
    • Covering cars, the fence bordering the student parking lot and football field, and various items in the school with sticky notes
    • Hiding stickers around the school (one of them found a way into the rafters and put a video online about it)
    • Silly string and those paper streamer things just... everywhere
    • Blasting music from the mezzanine or in front of the main entrance (that hurt me for a while)
These are in no particular order btw

My high school use to have a senior prank and water balloon fight on the last day of school. For our senior prank we plastic wrapped the Juniors cars shut. They found out what we were gonna do ahead of time and filled their water balloons with bleach to "get even"... that was the last year they did the water balloon fight.

My school banned senior pranks only for my graduating class. However, I implemented 3 of my own.
1: I placed a Halloween decoration sign that looked like old concrete outside directly in front of the pickup area that said “ Insane Asylum”
2: I placed baby powder and artificial snow in the air ducts.
3: I had my aunt bring air horns for us to blow after they announced our class at graduation.
The school may not have been happy, but it made everyone else happy.😂

Our best potential senior prank was throwing a slip n slide in the main lawn but a staff member took it away and punished everyone that was placing it on before it even started. The day after that we switched to water balloons and after fun and games it turned into multiple fistfights cause people were getting haymakered with balloons. Anyone could’ve seen it coming and the staff sure didn’t.

My school is only 6 years old so we're still figuring it out but after last year's senior class put chickens in the principals office and pranks have to be approved by the principal. My class (juniors) is currently advocating for ground rules instead so we can still prank our principal by gift wrapping her office. We want rules to be set like 1. You have to clean it up yourself within one school day
    2. No permanent destruction
    3. Can't impede learning
    4. No live animals
    5. No using power tools

There was a whole foofarah about it despite this prank having gone on every few years for twenty years. If things aren't harmed, I think we should admire the pranks. Hell, make it an extra curricular for the troubled kids so they have fond memories of school and don't hold a grudge.

My school used to do senior pranks, back in the 80s and 90s, it was normally letting peoples baby piglets and chickens loose in the school on the last day, as the place was surrounded by farms and still kinda is.
the last senior prank was 5 years ago. The seniors got together with a bunch of spoons and lined them up infront of the school until there was a field of half buried spoons in the ground. Someone, that set the school board off and no one's been able to do anything since. If you get caught trying to plan a senior prank, or you actually carry one out, they don't let you walk at graduation. But hey, the spoons were funny
