Thanasphere by Kurt Vonnegut

Just in time for the spooky season, here's a short story written by Kurt Vonnegut first published in Collier's in 1950 and reprinted in the anthology Bagombo Snuff Box in 1999. Vonnegut covers a lot of dark subjects, but I feel like this might be good for an eerie ghost story for your Halloween pleasure.
