Some clarifications! Porkins will indeed damage his hull, which works perfectly with his astromech R5-D8 from the Y-Wing's set of cards. I also recommend Hull Upgrade!
Stephens reaction at 22:42 is priceless. How about Hounds Tooth for Huge Ship Dark Side? Edit: They could put in the Punishing One or Mist Hunter as well with the pack. What saddens me is that when I first started buying this game, I knew that FFG had made a mistake. The ships are about 3 times bigger than they should be. The movement templates would have been more realistic if the ships had been 3 times smaller. I'd gladly given up some detail for a more realistic feel. Also the Rebel transport would have been the correct size now, and the Tantive IV should have been about half the rebel transports size and all would have fine. Imperial Huge ships and swarms of many many ships would have been no problem. Of course Star Destroyers would still have been a bit cumbersome :) Sad that they didn't do this.
The more I watch y'all's X-Wing videos, the more convinced I become I should get into it like, now. Also, WED-15 I think I recognize from Star Tours, like, the ride in Walt Disney World.
My only complaint is that the bridge for the ship doesn't match the scale. how are you supposed to fit a bunch of people in there? It's got less room than an A-wing.
So are you guys gonna come out with acrylic templates for the huge ships????? Also would love to see some good acrylic shield tokens from you guys. Pleaseeeeeee?
Great stuff as always - thanks for adding in the annotation about the mistake you made. Since I take your word as gospel, knowing I should ignore it for once was unnatural, but helpful :)
This is definately something I'd like to try out - the upcoming Tantive looks amazing. I certainly have a few friends that either do play this or would love to try it out - apart from the starting basic boxed set, what else would be good to get with it to say make it a little better than basic? There's some great ships I can see in the games range (like the look of things like Slave 1 and the Imperial Aces) but I'd like to get something a bit more than the basic stuff itself. Currently sitting at home recovering from a pinched nerve in my lower back - would be good to try this and sit at the table and just do some gaming! :)
I highly recommend that if you enjoy the basic game to get another starter set, since it doubles your ships, dice, and extra templates. Next, just get ships you like! You can easily get away with one of everything in this game and never need more unless you're really looking to play something specific. Check out the X-Wing Wikia to get previews of things and full details of each expansion. Happy flying! xwing-miniatures.wikia.com/wiki/X-Wing_Miniatures_Wiki
Leo's right. Two Core Sets make it easy to share and show your friends, and it gives you that classic TIE v. X-Wing matchup. From there, it's pure preference. We personally suggest just getting ships that you feel awesome flying. You can make anything work.
WilhelmScreamer Sounds legit. Never so much as heard of those before. Odd that I don't remember the IPV, as I played the hell out of TIE fighter back in the day.
good old times - loved your videos back in the day / still playing X-Wing 1.0 perhaps twice a year!
At 22:20 the Huge Imperial Bomb Drops. Keep in mind that the new range 5 ruler has red lasers on one side and GREEN Lasers on the other...
OH BOY!
:D
Carlist Rieekan only works during the activation phase, not the combat phase. So your ships would still shoot in their usual order.
Perfect! Thanks. That did feel much too good. Glad to know it's not so bonkers :)
can you make a imperial assault carrier review.
I love this ship and its upgrades. It adds so much more to the game. Thanks for the review.
Those are pretty cool! After seeing Rogue one I want to build my own rebel fleet, these guys might just be the way to go. Great video!
Janson doesn't stripe a token until after the attack is performed, so the defender can still use their token to defend against Janson's attack.
Some clarifications!

When are you guys planning to review the CR90? I can't wait to see your unboxing of that.
It'll be going up shortly, along with Wave 4!

Do it! You won't regret it!
My only complaint is that the bridge for the ship doesn't match the scale. how are you supposed to fit a bunch of people in there? It's got less room than an A-wing.
But that's not the game's fault.
ManchildGaming The transport is in a different scale from the regular ships
The huge ships use a "feel good/right" scale so they're not too big but still fell huge.
Will Team Covenant be making a movement template for huge ships?
There are good odds that such a thing will happen!
I love how FFG are making good stuff and balanced in one time.
So are you guys gonna come out with acrylic templates for the huge ships????? Also would love to see some good acrylic shield tokens from you guys. Pleaseeeeeee?
Chances are supremely high!

The Duty Free is toast with the TIE Attack Squadron going after it, hopefully they don't have a fate card!

Leo Howler I ended up get 3 to get all the x wings and ties I wanted it was the easiest way because supply issues
G-String I do remember there being a shortage of Wave 1 stuff for a good part of last year when I first started collecting, so yeah, I can see that.

Ok - sounds good. If it was yourself getting things beyond the 2 core sets what would you choose first off?
Can Dutch in his Y Wing give out that target lock?
What imperial ships would be in this size range, though? I'm passingly familiar with the expanded universe and I can't think of any.
IPV and the tartan patrol cruiser

I'd link the appropriate wookiepedia articles, but I think youtube blocks those.
WilhelmScreamer
I looked them up already. No worries.
So, if Toryn Farr implied the huge Imperial ships, why didn't you guys do an unboxing of them?
What happens if you combine shield projectors with biggs?
Great video!!!
hope they bring out an imperial ship soon maybe a Super/Stardestroyers or even the Deathstar?
I cannot figure out how the mines work? When does the mine token take effect? Why is control important?
There is a surprising lack of boxes considering this is an unboxing video. Great vid though, dont mind the internet troll.
Haha, thanks Daniel.
Rye-key-n from Empire Strikes Back
I need an option for my account that auto-likes all of your videos
One astromech can repair hull
biggs behind a transport!!!!
Heh, reading brains.
