None of you know me, but I have a reason for dropping by. I couldn't believe Blood Legion had a RUclips channel and had been on WoW as long as it was let alone made it to BlizzCon. I played on Horde/Illidan with an undead necro, under the gamertag Irae. I was the leader of Blood Legion from early-mid 2000 to 2005, about a year after vanilla launch date. I remember as far back as our days on D1 USEast, D2 LoD hardcore, and also getting us on the first WoW closed alpha, of which a trusted member and old friend of mine held day-to-day division head duties. I've gotta say even though we've all long since grown up and have different life priorities now, I'm proud of you all for making your mark in what you loved to do way back when. I salute you.

Check out Sco raging at Owld at Deathwing back progression. Then you'll see that he has the same rage within him even though he might not need or want to show it as much as rigg. In my opinion Rigg is one of the most iconic raidleaders there is.
Asbjørn Gram To be honest, Owld was being a dick at that attempt. Dying because you didnt answer your raid leader about a talent, is a little bit anoying. So you can cleary see why Sco got mad.

I understand the guy yelling the instructions so people would not forget what to do and what not, but I really doubt it helps anyone hear a guy saying "Do not fuck this up" over and over again
It keeps people in the zone so they don't space out and tunnel vision.. It's very easy to think to yourself that you can eat a mechanic and keep DPSing.

I've progressed that and I know for sure that if that would have hit anybody the whole raid would have been dead, one small move of anyone in the group and I guess no one would have survived that initial blow except for maybe the melees xD We wiped way too often in our 10 hc progress on the initial blow because we couldn't get it right to pop the right CDs at the right time. I love this fight, you have to play heroic in absolute unforgiving plus an additional phase your iron star kiter has to learn by hard, just like the tanks the exact positioning, what may take like 10-15 attempts... Those were the days
This is something I personally prefer, some introduction and end, not just fight video. Method might had worst first and I congrats them on that one, but this video, this is something special and unique. Nice motivation and I hope to see more video editing like this. Great job!

just a question, i see many guilds using Heroism on phase 3, but they do it really early - such as before Garrosh goes back up to 25% or whatever - and end up wasting 10 seconds or so, any reason why?

People of the age of vanilla! Hear me now. Do you remember when every fight was as hard as this? Every victory took this much dedication? When epics meant something of value. The absolute feeling of conquest when you down a boss after weeks of trial and error. We have grown weak with easy victories.. we have become feeble. Oblivious we are to the real meaning of what World of Warcraft was..We have forgotten , we have become weak , we are not prepared .. we are not prepared. Not anymore.
You mistake our lack of nerdscreams for not having fun or being happy. We had a 1.8 mill wipe literally 2 pulls prior, where people screamed too early and we didn't kill it. If soy didn't scream and mashed his execute button the boss would have died ;) Our lack of excessive nerd screams is more tied to the fact that we had been relieved to kill it finally, after falling so far behind on Paragons.
May not have been hard per se but getting 40 people to show up and coordinate them in the boss fights and well geared for the raids was a nightmare. Don't even get me started on the grind for resistance gear and the nonexistant spell rotation plus endlessly long raid with trash mobs that took forever to kill was what made it really hard, raids could get up to 6+ hours and you would only have finished half. Still it was fun and epic in its own way especially killing the last boss, satisfying.
Excluding the idiotic and tired "life" and "girlfriend" cards, I 100% agree. I constantly see people say something like "He has to be that tough because he's in a high progression guild...and plus he used to be a Marine!", yet Method is the one constantly getting the WF kills on damn near every tier. Goes to show that it's not impossible to play at a high level and actually enjoy it the whole way through, not just when you get the kill. That said, huge grats to BL on the kill.
anyone notice the last phase is literally the same phase as heroic rag? kiting meteor ? groups standing in a triangle/2 groups and fire on the ground that inevitably fills up the room.
This is why I love Blood Legion. They take the time to show the lore side of the fight. They include dialogue, cutscenes, etc. Much better than those who just show gameplay with their voices overlapping. Well done, Blood Legion. You never disappoint. =)
They run multiple normals groups spreading mains into each of them to feed gear to them. i believe they ran 6 or maybe even 7 normal raids the first week of the patch.
