So everything wired up in one compact unit that I can take out !!! EASY !!! for repair and service. So will Pecron listen ??? The only bad thing I see so far is that it can be controlled by WIFI but not Bluetooth. Bluetooth would make it easier to use in remote situations using my phone.
I think this is kind of a bug or feature not fully implemented. I have a Vigorpool that I can do AC input of 800watts and draw 1200watts, meaning it's only pulling 400watts from the battery. I need Pecron to provide this support for me to be able to buy one of these. If it can do that, can you please update me here in the comments or post a new video showing this feature. I think this Pecron E3600 is incredible but this feature needs to be working so you can do something like 1200 watt generator, 400watt solar, 1200-2000 watt draw.

@johnnysweekends I need your help. I want to use my first solar generator primarily for camping but also in case of power outages. The main thing is that id like to be able to power a portable air conditioner or heater when its super hot or cold. I attempted camping in 100 degree heat this summer. Whew. Im trying to decide between the Pecro. 3600 lfp, pecron 2400 lfp, bluetti 200 v2, or pecron 1500lfp. Im a little concerned about weight but pecron has a trolley for the 3600. Im completely new to solar. What should i do? Just tell me please. Im so tired of looking at videos. Im stressed. Lol. --tent camping
I am having issues with my unit (ep3600lfp). As long as I don’t have input power, it runs my circuits I have connected via my 30amp output. When I plug my unit in to external power, 15 amp, within about 20-30 min, it cuts off all output. Any ideas. Charging only set to 50%. Output hasn’t gone above 1500watts.
Do you need a bonding plug on champion when charging the Pecron and the three Pecron to Rv? Is there. I see it’s prudent to turn off converter in video. Some say use a binding plug. Why? Good video.
@@Cabernet2000 If your generator is a floating neutral and you are using it to charge the PECRON then you should use a bonding plug. AC input charging will be shut off on a 220VAC split phase two unit system so you wont be able to charge the units while running. AC charger wont work in 220VAC mode according to other reviewers. I was thinking you could still use a generator and use cheap AC to high voltage DC power supplies and plug them into the solar connections to fool the units into thinking they are getting solar power to charge both units whith a generator while the duel E3600LFP's inverters are outputting for faster recharging. Think you could get 4 of these off ebay. 36V 48V 60V 72V Li-ion LiFePo4 Lithium Battery Fast Charger Adjustable 1-15A.

Funny, I have the same champion generator and both the 1500lfp and the preorder 3600lfp. Not my favorite unit, that’ll be the ecoflow, but definitely the best bang for your buck.
@@johnnysweekends My biggest issue with the Pecron is WiFi connectivity. It used to update but now it connects but doesn’t update unless you’re connected directly. A few other quirks as well but nothing major. 1500lfp still going strong after a year of daily usage plus the extra battery. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
Does this work in the 240V configuration? For example, if you had two E3600LFP batteries in a 240V config, can you power them both from some other source, and then when power from that source drops, they carry on powering the connected devices like a UPS?
To me the worst part about this pecron is the power loss from DC to dc. Do their extra batteries also have that loss? Seems the anker solo f3800 doesn't do that, it's dc power has almost no parasitic draw
@@johnnysweekends okay yea, I misunderstood what exactly was being tested and wasn't comparing apples to apples. Now I understand, thanks. I guess this thing is pretty awesome then
Thank you. I have a question. Do you think you charge (2) Pecron E3600LFP units while they are connected via the Pecron Connection Box while they are powering 240v to a house via a 30 amp generator Power Inlet Box?
Ac input are turned off when using two E3600LFPs in 220VAC mode so no you can not use them as passthrugh like a single unit can. This sucks but I guess you will have to switch to 120VAC and charge each power station one at a time with a generator using the 30amp cable for fast charging. Im going to have a electrician set up a 120VAC and a 220VAC input socket to my panel.
@@johnnysweekends Yes I plan doing just that during a power outage to recharge the Pecron E3600LFPs batteries. Got any recommendations on a ac to dc converter that can handle the 2400 watt at 150Vdc?

Actually it can’t. This is the only all in one and portable unit that can. Although it’s still heavy, the Bluetti units are dead bricks with out a battery. So now you need two pieces to complete the same task. Ac500 is way too big. So again technically the first all in one portable unit. I don’t remember the ac300 doing 30 amp charging and being able to use 30 amp out feature at same time ..🤔 But I don’t have that model
@@johnnysweekendsAhh yes, if the criteria is one box, then yes you are correct. AC300 can do 25A/3000W, and AC500 can do 41A/5000W, both in out simultaneously but they are both multiple pieces. You show an extra battery so I wasn’t sure.
@DougKremer yea it’s just one of the expansion batteries. But such a good unit especially for the price. And as long as it lasts. Super basic but functional

Those pecron charge percentages don't jive with what it actual charges at
Several factors involved besides a number. Input, bms and more. You always have fluctuations
I’ve got a 7000 kW generator. Can I use that to charge up? My three pack runs all hooked together.
Needs to be a inverter generator
When are you going to do a review of Ampaura purea 3?
Idk 🤷🏼♂️
Please remind me why the converter to be turn off in RV? Sorry to ask.
Efficiency loss from AC to DC and if on it burns energy doing nothing. Charge batteries with solar! 👍🏼
Does this work in the 240V configuration? For example, if you had two E3600LFP batteries in a 240V config, can you power them both from some other source, and then when power from that source drops, they carry on powering the connected devices like a UPS?
Edit. The answer is no. However, you can use the DC inputs on the E3600LFP and on all the EP3000s to max out charging that way.
To me the worst part about this pecron is the power loss from DC to dc. Do their extra batteries also have that loss? Seems the anker solo f3800 doesn't do that, it's dc power has almost no parasitic draw
They all lose a little when the unit is turned on. Some a little more than other but most are all with in 1%
@@johnnysweekends okay yea, I misunderstood what exactly was being tested and wasn't comparing apples to apples.
Thats what I want to know!
That would be Awsome if it does.
If it’s being charged with solar only
As
Most work this way… I would like to have two to confirm but I don’t
Ac input are turned off when using two E3600LFPs in 220VAC mode so no you can not use them as passthrugh like a single unit can. This sucks but I guess you will have to switch to 120VAC and charge each power station one at a time with a generator using the 30amp cable for fast charging. Im going to have a electrician set up a 120VAC and a 220VAC input socket to my panel.
@Deagle367 or charge from dc using buck converters or ac to dc converters to trick it.
Works great 👍🏼
@@johnnysweekends Yes I plan doing just that during a power outage to recharge the Pecron E3600LFPs batteries. Got any recommendations on a ac to dc converter that can handle the 2400 watt at 150Vdc?
What's the discount?? The links take me to the site and it's 1599?

can the ecoflow alternator charger charge this as well?
Sorry no
where do you get the 30amp 120 plug?
I thought it comes with it…or maybe it’s separate order if you wanna fast charge..🤔
@johnnysweekends mine come with it, but i haven't tested it yet
@@johnnysweekends I used your code and ordered the 30kw system do you know when they plan to start shipping?
@sc5102day I think they have started
Unfortunately their APP is garbage and there's almost zero customer support. Very disappointing, I'd like to buy one but won't risk spending $1600 for a potential brick.
So you dont have one? Have you had to personally contact customer service?

What rep were you able to talk to? Ordered a $2k + worth of stuff and have had issues. Their customer service is obviously based in china cause they only want to answer me days later and when it's the middle of the night here in the US
Everyone’s CS is based in China now. Best way is to find FB group and get help through those.
Bluetti AC300 and AC500 can do this.
Actually it can’t. This is the only all in one and portable unit that can. Although it’s still heavy, the Bluetti units are dead bricks with out a battery. So now you need two pieces to complete the same task.
Ac500 is way too big.
So again technically the first all in one portable unit.
I don’t remember the ac300 doing 30 amp charging and being able to use 30 amp out feature at same time ..🤔
But I don’t have that model
@@johnnysweekendsAhh yes, if the criteria is one box, then yes you are correct. AC300 can do 25A/3000W, and AC500 can do 41A/5000W, both in out simultaneously but they are both multiple pieces. You show an extra battery so I wasn’t sure.
@DougKremer yea it’s just one of the expansion batteries. But such a good unit especially for the price. And as long as it lasts.
Super basic but functional
@@johnnysweekends I agee. It’s a ridiculous price for what you get, if it lasts.
Just $6000?
That’s if you buy the whole system with all expansion batteries. That’s actually a really good price for that much storage in a compact portable.
@@johnnysweekends guess your target audience is not those who are homeless living in their vehicles.
@rgruenhaus I don’t know my target audience. I just put out videos that may help anyone or everyone, or what I may find interesting
Stop saying "pee cron"
These things are getting cheap!
I just have to ask maybe you will maybe you won't answer me but why do you keep on saying Pacron and not Pecron .... I deem you as one of the best when it comes to the content that you make on RUclips. So for you to be mispronouncing a word like that its annoying. Maybe your messing around or maybe im not hearing you clearly i could be wrong. Smh
It’s the way it’s said. At least from everywhere I have heard it. Tamato, tomato ya know….🤷🏼♂️. Always heard it pronounced Pa-cron.
